Fundraising Data and Administrative Coordinator 


POSITION SUMMARY: 


The Fundraising Data and Administrative Coordinator supports business needs with a strong 

focus on data integrity, donor systems management, and campaign operations (75%), while also 

providing essential administrative support to leadership and fundraising initiatives (25%). This role 

is critical in managing and optimizing platforms such as Andar (inc. ePledge) and GiveSmart to 

support electronic giving, data reporting, donor engagement, and internal coordination.

POSITION DUTIES &amp; RESPONSIBILITIES 

The following statements are intended to describe the general nature and level of work being 

performed. They are not intended to be construed as an exhaustive list of all responsibilities, duties 

and skills required. 


Data &amp; System Support (75%) 

ï· Serve as the primary Andar administrator, providing expert-level guidance, troubleshooting, 

and training to internal staff on key database functions. 

ï· Oversee data quality and conduct regular audits, clean-up projects, and reconciliations 

with Finance to ensure campaign and donor records are accurate. 

ï· Manage donor data flow across third-party platforms, i.e. GiveSmart; maintain and 

segment mailing lists, ensuring alignment with communication strategy. 

ï· Build and execute complex queries to support campaign segmentation, reporting, and 

strategy. 

ï· Lead and support ePledge deployment, troubleshooting issues for workplace campaign 

champions and donors, and serving as a liaison with App Support Services. 

ï· Collaborate with Finance to manage donation records, adjustments, reconciliations, and 

annual audit preparation. 

ï· Execute direct mail and digital campaigns in collaboration with organizational strategy, 

ensuring timing, list accuracy, and technical execution. 

ï· Develop and maintain accurate donor and constituent records, including interaction 

histories and event participation data. 


Administrative Support (25%) 

ï· Provide calendar management, meeting scheduling, and coordination of logistics for 

internal and external stakeholders. 

ï· Manage campaign materials inventory, reordering, and logistics for distribution. 

ï· Support event logistics, donor mailings, and routine data updates resulting from donor 

communications. 

ï· Coordinate scheduling, prepare internal reports and dashboards, and assist in special 

projects related to fundraising and engagement. 

ï· Serve as a point of contact for routine inquiries, redirecting or escalating as appropriate. 


Flexibility 

ï· UWFC is evolving with our changing external environment. Flexibility and adaptability are 

key attributes for this position. This position requires in-office work a minimum of 4 days 

per week. 

ï· A willingness to take on additional duties to ensure the success of the team is essential. 

ï· Occasional local travel may be required with some events/tasks outside of traditional work 

hours.

Education and/or Experience 

ï· Bachelor’s degree in information systems, Business Administration. Related field and/or 

work experience will be considered as appropriate. 

ï· 2+ years of experience in data management &amp; operations, data systems, and CRM 

management (Andar a plus) in a nonprofit environment. 

ï· Excellent technical proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, donor database platforms and 

reporting tools. 

ï· Demonstrated ability to maintain data accuracy and uphold donor confidentiality. 

ï· Excellent problem-solving and organizational skills; ability to remain professional and 

composed under high-pressure situations. 

ï· Knowledge of Forsyth County and the human service sector is preferred.

Fundraising Data and Administrative Coordinator

Grants Acquisition and Administration Manager 
 

Position Summary 
 

The Grants Acquisition and Administration Manager reports to the Chief Impact Officer and 

plays a pivotal role in securing and managing grants that support United Way of Forsyth 

County Winston-Salem, North Carolina’s community impact work. This role leads efforts to grow 

our grant portfolio by identifying, cultivating, and stewarding public and private funding 

opportunities. The manager works across teams to ensure grant strategies are aligned with 

organizational priorities and that all funded work is measurable, compliant, and impactful. 
 

Grant Revenue Development and Strategy 
 

 • Leads the development and execution of an integrated grants acquisition plan to 

expand annual institutional funding. 
 

 • Proactively identifies, researches, and evaluates funding opportunities from 

government, foundation, and corporate sources. 
 

 • Co-develops the annual grants strategy with the CEO and CIO to align with UWFC's 

funding priorities and impact goals. 
 

 • Writes compelling, data-informed proposals and coordinates development with 

internal departments for supporting materials. 
 

 • Collaborates with Resource Development and Marketing and Engagement teams to 

ensure unified messaging and funder communications. 
 

 • Partners with department leads to collect program data, financials, and community 

insights to support application development. 
 

 • Serves as primary relationship manager for institutional funders, ensuring 

stewardship and engagement throughout the funding cycle. 
 

 • Oversees proposal compliance and internal review processes to meet funder 

standards and ensure quality. 
 

Grants Management and Compliance 
 

 • Oversees post-award grant management including reporting, documentation, and 

internal coordination. 
 

 • Collaborates with finance and program teams to track grant spending, deliverables, 

and reporting accuracy.


 • Maintains up-to-date records of grant activities and ensures compliance with 

funder expectations. 
 

Program Planning, Evaluation, and Partner Support 
 

 • Monitors funding and policy trends to inform strategic grant planning and identify 

emerging opportunities. 
 

 • Develops or supports cross-sector grant initiatives that reflect UWFC’s priorities and 

respond to community needs. 
 

 • Aligns proposals and funding strategies across departments to improve 

coordination and impact. 
 

 • Cultivates external partnerships that lead to co-investment and shared learning. 
 

 • Participates in high-visibility initiatives that strengthen UWFC’s presence in the 

funding landscape. 
 

Community Investment &amp; Strategic Alignment 
 

 • Contributes to the design and execution of place-based and community-wide 

investments. 
 

 • Tracks and integrates new funding opportunities that align with UWFC’s equity, 

health, education, and financial stability efforts. 
 

 • Builds relationships with partners and collaborators to strengthen regional impact 

and attract funding. 
 

 • Represents UWFC in local and regional coalitions, helping to position the 

organization for future funding and strategic partnerships. 
 

Skills and Qualifications 
 

 • Bachelor’s degree required. 
 

 • Minimum five years of grant writing and fundraising experience, preferably in the 

nonprofit sector. 
 

 • Proven success in securing competitive grants, including demonstrated experience 

with federal grant applications, and managing multi-funder portfolios. 
 

 • Strong writing, communication, relationship-building, and project management 

skills.


 • Understanding of program evaluation, outcomes measurement, and funding 

compliance. 
 

 • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple deadlines. 
 

 • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
