Some local daytime travel will be required to provide on-site assistance.&nbsp;ESSENTIAL DUTIES &amp; RESPONSIBILITIES<ul><li>Manages HMIS training program.&nbsp;</li><li>Implements existing training courses and creates new trainings, based on HMIS user needs.&nbsp;</li><li>Makes initial contact with new agencies and schedules meetings and trainings.</li><li>Facilitates all agency trainings and is available for questions post training.</li><li>Keeps regular contact with existing agencies for any needed assistance.</li><li>Runs and reviews regularly scheduled reports of participating agencies to ensure good quality data is being entered into the system.</li><li>Assists with agency program evaluation and monitoring.&nbsp;</li><li>Responds&nbsp;to&nbsp;support tickets&nbsp;submitted&nbsp;through the&nbsp;HMIS&nbsp;virtual help&nbsp;desk&nbsp;and&nbsp;resolves&nbsp;problems in a timely&nbsp;manner.</li><li>Research policies, procedures, and HMIS best practices and&nbsp;compliance.</li><li>Support homeless coalition&nbsp;committee&nbsp;volunteers&nbsp;by&nbsp;scheduling&nbsp;meetings,&nbsp;documenting&nbsp;meeting&nbsp;minutes, and developing&nbsp;agendas.</li><li>Make public presentations on HMIS system and homeless&nbsp;issues.&nbsp;</li><li>Assists with preparation of annual reports to HUD and other major funders.</li><li>Other responsibilities as required.</li></ul>Required<ul><li>Excellent organizational, interpersonal, communication (oral and written)&nbsp;skills.</li><li>Proficiency in database software, Excel, and other MS Office Suite&nbsp;products.</li><li>Ability to teach database operations to inexperienced&nbsp;users.</li><li>Ability to manage various aspects of grants, special projects and&nbsp;initiatives.</li><li>Candidates must consistently demonstrate the ability to work independently as a member of an impact&nbsp;team.</li><li>Ability to prioritize projects and manage time&nbsp;effectively.</li><li>Ability to develop positive interpersonal and working relationships with various publics, including, volunteer networks, UWM staff, human services organizations, schools, faith-based organizations, funders and&nbsp;supporters.</li><li>Experience developing and maintaining rosters, calendars, filing systems and ensuring accuracy, confidentiality and consistency of filing&nbsp;systems.</li></ul>Preferred<ul><li>Bachelor’s degree or relevant education and experience in related&nbsp;field.</li><li>Database analysis skills including demonstrated ability to write reports and build&nbsp;queries.</li><li>Experience teaching technical&nbsp;content.</li><li>Grant development/management.</li><li>Non-profit, government, foundation, board, volunteer management, and/or United&nbsp;Way experience.</li></ul> &nbsp;
