POSITION SUMMARY (This is a temporary position)As a Facilities Associate, you are responsible for maintaining the efficient function of the mailroom by sorting and delivering mail, ordering supplies, fulfilling mail requisitions, and keeping track of deliveries for off-site events. Foundations Manager

POSITION SUMMARY: (Hybrid, 3 days in office - Alexandria, VA)The Senior Associate will provide support to the Network Performance team. This position requires both customer service skills and technical capabilities. Responsibilities include providing and managing daily operations including but not limited to Salesforce administration, managing membership process, communications, compliance reviews and special projects. This role supports membership functions to meet operational and compliance needs.   The individual will be responsible for maintaining the accuracy and integrity of all information within the membership databases and data files.  They will provide technical assistance for Salesforce, webinars and projects using DocuSign and Smartsheet.  The position supports licensing of United Way’s database of zip codes and associated United Ways (GiftLink), for use by corporate partners.   The Senior Associate will be required to conduct research to resolve operational questions and problems as they arise. The individual will develop, plan, and implement solutions to improve processes and workflow.   The Senior Associate works collaboratively/cooperatively with others to achieve goals. The individual will contribute to and promote a positive work environment/atmosphere; manage the day-to-day operational aspects of projects and scope; and provide detailed organizational communication as requested.Key Responsibilities/Essential Duties of Position:<ul><li>Salesforce: Maintain the accuracy and integrity of member United Way (US only) information in Salesforce, including mass uploads of data and data cleaning; provide technical step-by-step guides for processes; train colleagues and provide troubleshooting support for Salesforce outputs and processes. </li><li>Annual Membership Certification Process:  Support the annual membership certification process.  Responsible for managing use of third-party platform (currently DocuSign for Salesforce) to collect all certification forms.  Requires extensive knowledge of current and future capabilities of the third-party vendor. Create, format, test and monitor templates using Salesforce and third-party platform; collaborate with UWW IT to facilitate system connections. Provide technical support to the network including written technical guidance for various systems and processes and responding to specific questions from Local United Way staff and board members.   </li><li>Review Membership Certifications for compliance – specifically noting audits, 990s and financial reporting.  Support local United Ways’ understanding of and compliance with the membership requirements.  This includes creating webinar content, guidance promoted via UWO and Workplace by Facebook, promoting best practices and responding to phone, email and Ask United Way questions.  </li><li>Maintain the accuracy of the master GiftLink data file and make authorized changes to the database.  Manage license agreements for use of GiftLink data, including distribution of GiftLink database monthly to approved 3rd party processors. </li><li>Upload GiftLink files on a quarterly basis to United Way Online. Senior Associate, Network Performance

POSITION SUMMARY (Alexandria, VA onsite HYBRID)About 211211 is a vital service leveraged by millions of people across North America. Every day, clients contact 211 to access free and confidential crisis and emergency counseling, disaster assistance, food, health care and insurance assistance, stable housing and utilities payment assistance, employment services, veteran services and childcare and family services. In 2022 alone, 211s in the US answered more than 18 million calls, texts, chats and emails, helping millions with life-changing support. There is no other network in the country that has a similar pulse on America’s needs. The Lead Associate, 211 Programs and Network Engagement is a motivated, detail-oriented, dedicated associate tasked with coordinating all project administrative processes and tasks related to 211 programs and network engagement.  The individual completes all contracts, agreements, and payments between UWW and local teams and partners related to 211 programs throughout the year. The position supports program inquiries, project communications, building responsive solutions to local team needs, and backstopping all staff supporting 211 programs, such as the Ride United, AARP Caregiver Program, and other programs leveraging 211. The Lead Associate is essential to enabling project implementation and management, network communications, ongoing training, resource creation, and program reporting and analysis. The individual is responsible for managing the requirements of several contracts and grants, supporting the managers and directors in improving and maintaining internal processes related to communications and data, and supporting fundraising efforts to leverage the 211 network (United Way Worldwide’s 211 Team provides coordination at the national level to a diverse Network of 200+ 211 teams). KEY RESPONSIBILITIES/ESSENTIAL DUTIES OF POSITIONAn individual must be able to perform each essential duty listed below at a satisfactory level: <ul><li>Serve as the main administrative coordinator for 211 programs including the Ride United, AARP Caregiver, and other grant and contract funded programs leveraging 211, through the efficient handling of administrative and project tasks to ensure projects stay on track and contract and grant deliverables are met.</li><li>Support the local United Way and 211 Network participating in 211 programs by managing information and tools, coordinating and planning key meetings, events, and trainings, and managing the collection of data and information from the Network.</li><li>Manage all internal UWW processes related to contracting and invoicing including the Business Review Process.  </li><li>Develop positive working relationships with internal UWW staff in Finance, General Counsel, and other relevant departments to ensure effective communications and work flow.</li><li>Support partnership and development efforts to secure grants, contracts, and funding by maintaining project dashboards, answering programmatic questions, supporting donor inquiries, and ensuring timely reporting.</li><li>Create reports and project summaries for internal and external communications.</li><li>Provide superior customer service to local United Way and 211 Network representatives inquiring about 211 programs and resources by providing timely and thorough responses and information.  Identify opportunities to enhance onboarding and training and identify needed tools through interactions with partners.  Support Managers and Directors in developing tools and resources to support team programs and work.
