Position Summary: &nbsp;(Eligible for Hybrid/ 3 days in office - Alexandria, VA) &nbsp;The Senior Director, People Operations will drive process excellence, data-driven decision-making, and continuous improvement within the People &amp; Culture team, in support of a nimble, high performing. “People First” culture at United Way Worldwide. They will serve as a thought partner and implementer in expanding the delivery of People &amp; Culture supports to UWW staff and to local United Ways around the world. &nbsp;The Sr. Director fulfills responsibilities in the following functional areas: employee relations, policy implementation, performance management, employment law compliance, recruitment, onboarding, compensation and benefits administration, and coaching managers on effective organizational development. This position reports to the EVP, Chief People &amp; Culture Officer and will serve as a partner in creating services to better serve people needs in UWW and in the UW Network. This position will be expected to work on-site from UWW’s headquarters in Alexandria, VA at least 3 days per week, but more frequently during their initial introductory period, as well as when work needs may require.&nbsp;Key Responsibilities/Essential Duties of Position:&nbsp;An individual must be able to perform each essential duty listed below at a satisfactory level:&nbsp;<ul><li>Provides day-to-day direction for all aspects of People &amp; Culture, acting as a senior generalist within the team and for internal stakeholders across the organization.&nbsp;</li><li>Administer various human resource plans and procedures for UWW; assists in the development and implementation of human resource policies and procedures; prepares and maintains the employee handbook.&nbsp;</li><li>Coach leaders and teammates on employment guidelines and ensure prompt, satisfactory resolution of validated issues/concerns.&nbsp;</li><li>Recommend innovative approaches, policies, and procedures to continually improve efficiency of the department and services performed.&nbsp;</li><li>Monitor changes in regulatory and legal requirements, and in the external environment, affecting People &amp; Culture functions. Reporting to the Chief Development Officer, this role supervises four (4) team members, who manage their own corporate partner portfolios. Together, the entire team identifies, cultivates, solicits, and stewards corporate donors, as well as manages a robust workplace giving program. The Director of Corporate Partnerships will partner closely with individual giving members alongside grants to strategically grow and diversify fundraising revenue at United Way NCA, with particular focus on increasing corporate support and partnership activations, as well as converting passthrough workplace campaign donors.Key Responsibilities: The Director, Corporate Partnerships&nbsp;will:<ul><li>Lead the immediate, near-term, and long-term strategic planning, implementation, growth, and maintenance of a robust Corporate Partnerships Program and Team.</li><li>Lead and manage a highly collaborative team in all identification, cultivation, solicitation, and stewardship efforts with Corporate and workplace campaign prospects and donors.&nbsp;</li><li>Support the CEO, CDO, and Board of Directors in their corporate engagement efforts.</li><li>Manage and report on Corporate Partnerships expense and revenue budget.</li><li>Meet and/or exceed annual revenue goals.&nbsp;</li><li>Meet the minimum annual fundraising growth goals.&nbsp;</li><li>Track, and report on Corporate Partnerships Team’s progress, utilizing established key performance indicators (KPIs).</li><li>In collaboration with Individual Giving, ensure workplace campaign donors who have membership in the Tocqueville Society (United Way’s major giving society) and/or affinity groups (Regional Advisory Council, Women United, and NextGen United) are stewarded appropriately.</li><li>Monitor and institute corporate partnerships best practices in operations, such as workplace campaign administration, CRM utilization, prospect research, acknowledgments, and reporting.</li><li>Work closely with the Marketing and Communications Department to coordinate communication strategies for corporate partners.&nbsp;</li><li>Work closely with the Community Impact Division and the Grants Team to identify the best opportunities to align with the Corporate Partner’s corporate social responsibility (CSR) initiatives and engage corporate employee volunteerism.</li><li>Coach and train the Development Team for increasingly complex and new corporate opportunities to include sponsorships, point of sale campaigns, cause-related marketing, etc.</li><li>Create and drive a culture of philanthropy across all fundraising areas that contribute to the entire Development Team’s goals.</li></ul>Manage a portfolio of Corporate Partners:<ul><li>Serve as the primary relationship manager in identification, cultivation, solicitation, and stewardship of 20 – 40 Corporate Partners with the capacity to support at the $25,000+ level on an annual basis.</li><li>Secure new corporate partnerships and activations.&nbsp;</li><li>Document all portfolio-related activities using the donor database Andar.</li><li>Supervise front-line team who manage a portfolio of a minimum forty corporate partners each and lead on workplace campaign and partnerships.&nbsp;</li><li>Other duties as assigned.</li></ul>Key Performance Indicators: All front-line fundraisers at United Way NCA are expected to meet annual KPIs.
