Position Summary&nbsp;The Senior Vice President of Impact provides visionary leadership to advance the United Way of Palm Beach County’s mission of improving youth opportunities, financial security, community health, and community resiliency for all. This role energizes and inspires the Impact team, guiding strategic investments, community collaborations, and program initiatives that create measurable, lasting change. The SVP of Impact serves as a key ambassador to donors, partners, and stakeholders, demonstrating the impact of our work and positioning United Way as the premier way to get involved in building a stronger community.Essential Duties and ResponsibilitiesThe essential functions include, but are not limited to, the following:Strategic Leadership and Program Oversight<ul><li>Provide leadership to the Community Impact Council, supervising directors and staff across key initiatives (e.g., Hunger Relief, Special Needs, VITA, Mentoring).</li><li>Provide strategic direction for all phases of United Way’s grantmaking—planning, research, application design, compliance, monitoring, and evaluation.</li><li>Oversee organizational impact measurement, ensuring consistent data collection, analysis, and reporting across programs.</li><li>Oversee the grants management system.</li><li>Engage stakeholders in Countywide Community Needs Assessments.&nbsp;</li><li>Manage the department budget and align resources to organizational priorities.</li></ul>Community Engagement and Volunteer Leadership<ul><li>Manage the Community Impact Council and Agency Executive Directors’ Council—setting agendas, preparing materials, and facilitating productive dialogue.</li><li>Recruit, train, and engage diverse volunteer leaders to strengthen United Way’s investment and impact strategies.</li><li>Represent United Way in community forums, task forces, and strategic collaboratives to drive systems-level change.</li></ul>Initiatives and Special Programs<ul><li>Oversee the ALICE (Asset Limited, Income Constrained, Employed) initiative and the EFSP (Emergency Food and Shelter Program).</li><li>Assist with the organization’s disaster response efforts (e.g., hurricanes, pandemic, mass casualty), including fundraising and managing distribution of funding.</li><li>Develop and implement strategies for new initiatives and special projects in alignment with community needs and organizational priorities.</li><li>Coordinate cross-functionally with the Fundraising Team, Volunteer Services, Marketing/Communications, Finance, and IT to maximize impact and visibility.</li><li>Coordinate Public Policy and Advocacy efforts.&nbsp;</li></ul>Fund Development and Storytelling<ul><li>Partner with the Fundraising Team to cultivate corporate, foundation, and government support for programs and initiatives.</li><li>Collaborate with Marketing/Communications to translate data and results into compelling stories for donors, stakeholders, and the public.</li><li>Present outcomes and impact to the Board of Directors, funders, and community partners to strengthen trust and investment.</li></ul>Assist, as assigned by management, with the organization’s disaster response efforts.Perform other duties as opportunities are presented and/or assigned.Minimum Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities)<ul><li>Master’s degree preferred; bachelor’s degree with equivalent leadership experience considered.</li><li>Minimum of 10 years progressive leadership in human services, philanthropy, or community impact (including staff supervision, program management, and strategic planning).</li><li>Demonstrated success in grantmaking, resource development, and outcome measurement.</li><li>Proven ability to build consensus, lead collaborative initiatives, and inspire diverse stakeholders.</li><li>Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; able to design innovative strategies informed by data.</li><li>Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills, with the ability to engage boards, donors, and community leaders.</li><li>Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite; familiarity with grants management systems and impact measurement tools preferred.</li></ul>

Location: Onsite<h2>Position Summary</h2>The IT Support Specialist provides technical assistance for computer hardware, software, and networks, troubleshooting problems for end-users and organizations. The duties include installing and configuring systems, diagnosing issues, performing maintenance, training users, and documenting technical problems and solutions.&nbsp; &nbsp; This role is responsible for keeping technology infrastructure running smoothly to support employee productivity and ensuring data security. This role also manages the administrative tasks related to the IT department.<h2>Essential Duties and Responsibilities</h2>The essential functions include, but are not limited to the following:<ul><li>Serves as primary point of contact for diagnosing and resolving issues with hardware, software, and network connectivity for end-users. Prioritizing requests when necessary.</li><li>Coordinates with Managed Service Provider to ensure that requests are resolved to the end user’s satisfaction.</li><li>Setting up new hardware and installing, configuring, and updating software applications and operating systems.</li><li>In conjunction with the MSP, perform routine maintenance on computer systems and networks to ensure optimal performance and security.</li><li>Develops and maintains relationships with external IT vendors and service providers.</li><li>Organizes training for various systems, software, and best practices.</li><li>Assists with operations to maintain workflow and meet deadlines.</li><li>Asset Management for all equipment, software, and licenses. Ensure that renewal periods are documented and renewals are completed on time.</li><li>Monitors Systems for issues, vulnerabilities, and potential cyber threats to maintain network security.&nbsp;</li><li>Records technical issues, solutions, and system changes in a clear and organized manner.&nbsp;</li><li>Oversees IT security audits, reports, and investigations.</li><li>Establishes efficiency standards, recommends IT infrastructure improvements, and maintains IT Procedures manual.</li><li>Develops and maintains the annual IT administration budget.</li><li>Assists, as assigned by management, with the organization’s disaster response efforts.</li><li>Performs other duties and assumes other responsibilities as assigned..</li></ul><h2>Minimum Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities)</h2><ul><li>Minimum High School Diploma and experience serving in a technology helpdesk capacity.</li><li>Minimum of 3-6 years’ experience.</li><li>Proven knowledge and understanding of application systems and computing devices.</li><li>Familiarity with Office 365 Administration including SharePoint.</li><li>Knowledge of VOIP phone system management.</li><li>Strong problem-solving skills.</li><li>Strong customer service and communication skills.</li><li>Strong attention to detail and discretion with confidential information.</li><li>Ability to prioritize tasks and work calmly under pressure.</li></ul><h2>Physical Demands and Work Environment&nbsp;</h2>The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this position.
