Job DescriptionPosition Summary The Community Investments Manager supports the Community Foundation and United Way of Volusia-Flagler Counties’ (CF UWVFC) strategic investment efforts. The goal of this position is to support theorganization’s ability to drive positive change by strategic investments in the community throughgrantmaking and grant management. United Way professionals should exhibit core competencies:mission-focused, relationship-oriented, collaborator, results-driven and brand-steward.Duties and Responsibilities Business Acumen &amp; Strategic Direction • Prepare and submit reporting for grants and contracts as required. • Collect and internally distribute reporting data to inform and communicate impact of investments. • Serves as primary administrator for grant CRM system, including user management,building/maintaining forms such as grant applications/evaluations and creating data setsand reports. • Steward non-profits through grant application, award process and follow up reporting inthe CRM system. • Oversee 2-1-1 database by gathering and entering up-to-date information about services inVolusia and Flagler Counties. • Manage grant opportunities and community partnerships related to the 2-1-1database.Outward Turning • Maintain relationships with non-profits, funding agencies and partners.Talent Management &amp; People Development • Receive and provide feedback in a constructive way.Operational Planning &amp; Execution • Support events as needed.&nbsp; • Other duties as assigned.Qualifications • Bachelor’s degree in a related field OR four years of relevant work experience. • Exceptional interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate the key stakeholders, peers and staff. • High degree of professional integrity to deal ethically with confidential information. • Ability to work under minimal supervision. • Excellent computer skills (minimum of Microsoft software programs) and attention to details and deadlines. • Data entry experience working with a customer relationship management system. • Possess a valid driver’s license and have use of insured motor vehicle.Preferred • Grant and contract management experience.Working Conditions &amp; Physical Requirements Work is carried out in a controlled, agreeable environment as generally represented by normal officeconditions. Employees may be required to assist with or attend various offsite events related to programsor fund raising that are scheduled evenings and/or weekends. Job Description Position Title Marketing and Communications Senior ManagerPosition Summary: The Marketing and Communications Senior Manager is responsible for developing and implementing strategies to promote the organization’s mission and impact, buildawareness and foster donor support. This position is responsible for utilizing the Community Foundation and United Way of Volusia-Flagler Counties’ website, e-newsletters, print materials, social mediaplatforms and other marketing tools to effectively communicate the organization’s work. The SeniorManager will maintain relationships with media and create compelling content that drive theorganization’s brand awareness. Teammates should exhibit core competencies: mission- focused,relationship-oriented, collaborator, results-driven, and brand-steward.Duties and Responsibilities: Effective and Engaging Communicator • Develop creative and engaging content for marketing and communication tools such asprint materials, website, e-newsletter, press releases, social media and promotional items. • Work effectively with other departments to achieve goals and communicate to variousstakeholders. • Coordinate with other departments and outside vendors to complete marketing materials such asbrochures, flyers and photo/video resources. • Manage public relations with media contacts.Critical Thinking and Creative Problem Solving • Research and implement industry best practices to improve marketing effectiveness, processesand content. • Review analytic reports to measure and share results to improve success of marketing initiatives.Planning and Implementation • Support leadership in establishing, implementing and evaluating a strategic marketing plan andannual calendar. • Collaborate with staff, volunteers, interns and consultants in elevating brand awareness. • Manage brand and public image. • Implement new and existing projects and initiatives as decided within each department.Embracing &amp; Managing Change • Assist in evaluating and implementing systems to advance the vision of CF and UWVFC. • Initiate new ideas and improving efficiencies in the Operations department and the organization. • Embrace a team mentality and work together with others to achieve goals.Professional Development • Participate in professionals’ groups, such as Florida Public Relations Association. • Actively seek out opportunities for professional developmentQualifications&nbsp; • Bachelor’s degree in a related field OR 4 years of relevant work experience. • Team player with the ability to work with leadership to achieve organizational goals. • Creative and innovative mindset. • Strong verbal and written communication skills. • Exceptional interpersonal skills needed with the ability to communicate with key stakeholders, peers, and staff. • Ability to work independently. • Excellent computer skills and digital literacy (minimum of Microsoft and Adobe software programs).
