The role is responsible for stewarding and cultivating a donor portfolio comprised of multiple industry sectors and multiple revenue sources to include, but not limited to 1) Workplace Campaigns; 2) Grantmaking; 3) Sponsorships; 4) Point of Sale; 5) CI, Marketing, and 6) Volunteer Engagement.&nbsp; As part of the Fundraising team, the Corporate Partnership Senior Manager will identify and recommend individuals for leadership engagement from corporations to expand participation in our affinity groups and drive revenue. &nbsp;&nbsp;Portfolio Management&nbsp;<ul><li>Directly responsible for managing a portfolio of corporate partners generating $1.5M+ in annual revenue designated to United Way NCA. &nbsp;</li><li>Increase annual revenue from corporate partners through workplace campaign allocations, grants, and sponsorships.&nbsp;</li><li>Identify new corporate partners to add to the portfolio for multi-year, holistic philanthropic support through workplace giving, grantmaking, sponsorships, point of sale, cause marketing, and volunteer engagement.&nbsp;</li><li>Serve as the primary point of contact for corporate partner relationship management to key staff responsible for workplace campaign/employee giving, corporate social responsibility, sponsorships, point of sale, cause marketing, and volunteer engagement.&nbsp;</li><li>Create comprehensive, integrated year-long stewardship workplans for current, lapsed, and prospective corporate partners, reflecting their giving data, areas of interest, and points of entry to the Engagement&nbsp;<ul><li>In collaboration with the Community Impact Volunteer Engagement team, provide counsel and recommendations for annual employee engagement and volunteerism.&nbsp;</li><li>Identify corporate partners to take leadership roles in United Way NCA initiatives and special events including but not limited to annual giving days, in-community service, and initiatives to advance programs and services for community pillars of health, education, and economic opportunity.&nbsp;</li><li>Organize and attend corporate partner engagement related events.&nbsp;</li><li>Represent United Way NCA at community functions and activities to network and help promote and develop additional business through the development and expansion of referral sources.&nbsp;</li><li>Collaborate with Finance department to leverage employee giving and engagement platforms (ex. ePledge, Benevity, Your Cause) and other technologies for more efficient revenue collection through execution of workplace campaigns, matching gifts, grants and special events.&nbsp;</li></ul>Donor Engagement&nbsp;<ul><li>In collaboration with Director of Corporate Partnerships and Chief Development Officer identify individual donors from workplace campaigns for personal engagement, in our affinity programs including but not limited to NextGen, Women United, and Regional Councils.&nbsp;</li><li>In collaboration with the Director of Corporate Partnerships, the Donor Engagement Senior Manager, and Chief Development Officer identify and make recommendations for the Tocqueville Society, United Way’s major giving society.&nbsp;</li><li>In collaboration with the Corporate Engagement team and Marketing, make recommendations for an annual communications plan to inform and engage corporate partners that advance the goals and objectives of United Way NCA. &nbsp;</li></ul>Qualifications and Personal Attributes:<ul><li>Minimum 5 years in fundraising and/or business development, with demonstrated experience in moves management and relationship building with donors or clients, preferably through corporate giving, employee giving, grantmaking, sponsorships, point of sale, and cause marketing.&nbsp;</li><li>Demonstrated ability to meet predetermined revenue goals. &nbsp;</li><li>A bachelor’s degree is preferred. &nbsp;High school diploma or GED and a minimum of eight years’ equivalent work experience in fundraising and/or business development required.&nbsp;</li><li>Ability to engage corporate partners in the annual moves management cycle of identification, cultivation, solicitation, and stewardship. &nbsp;</li><li>Excellent project management skills, with a proven track record of taking concepts from ideation to implementation, The Vice President of Community Initiatives leads the design, execution, and continuous improvement of United Way of Greater Knoxville’s (UWGK) community impact operations. This role oversees collaborative projects, grant and contract management, data and evaluation systems, and strategic partnerships to ensure initiatives are efficient, compliant, and deliver measurable results.The VP of Community Initiatives builds strong internal processes, fosters cross-department alignment, and supports staff in driving high-quality impact work across priority focus areas. Subcontract Management<ul><li>Oversee the lifecycle of inbound grants and subcontract agreements, including proposal development support, managing partnership agreements, compliance monitoring, performance tracking, and reporting.</li><li>Ensure appropriate systems and infrastructure exist to manage grant documentation, deliverables, deadlines, and compliance requirements.</li><li>Collaborate with Finance and administrative functions to track grant budgets, invoices, and reimbursement processes.</li></ul>Data Evaluation &amp; Systems Oversight<ul><li>Oversee Impact data and resource management staff to ensure effective data collection, quality assurance, analysis, and visualization of outcomes.</li><li>Champion a culture of learning by using data insights, research, and evaluation practices to drive decision-making and continuous program improvement.</li><li>Lead efforts to standardize shared measurement systems and processes across internal Impact teams and collaborative initiatives.</li></ul>Community Partnerships &amp; Collective Impact<ul><li>Collaborate with Impact directors, community partners, and coalitions to identify gaps, emerging needs, and strategic opportunities for greater alignment and coordination.</li><li>Represent UWGK in local, regional, and statewide coalitions and committees, serving as a thought leader in systems-building, equity-centered impact, and cross-sector partnership strategies.</li><li>Build and sustain strong relationships with public agencies, nonprofit partners, and funders to advance shared goals and maximize community resources.</li><li>Partner with the Community Investments team to monitor and update UWGK’s impact agenda and to align short and long-term impacts and outcomes with outbound-grant-funded partners.</li></ul>Communications &nbsp;&amp; External Engagement<ul><li>Partner with Communications and Advancement staff to develop compelling storytelling, case studies, reports, and data-driven messaging that demonstrate UWGK’s impact and enhance donor and stakeholder engagement.</li><li>Support fundraising strategies by providing impact insights, outcome data, and project and partner successes to Advancement teams.</li><li>Ensure consistent and authentic communication of program outcomes, impact, and lessons learned across channels and audiences.</li><li>Support strong UWGK governance, including building relationships with the Board of Directors and committee volunteers, facilitation of impact committees, and providing strategic updates and leading decision-making with the board and committees on community initiatives.</li></ul>Budget &amp;
