Manager of Donor Experience and Growth

The Associate Director of Corporate Relations reports to the Senior Director, Corporate Relations. The Corporate Relations Team within the Office of Development serves as the core unit in driving deepened engagement and increased revenue for the Child Well-Being Mission Fund from key corporate partners. Its primary objective is to build relationships with corporate partners and individual donors that will result in increased corporate and individual investments for UWGA programs, initiatives, sponsorships, and other engagement opportunities. The team is responsible for building relationships with key stakeholders across the corporate landscape with a goal to make United Way their philanthropic partner of choice. The team collaborates with external partners, which include donors, volunteers and corporate leaders. Internally the team collaborates across all departments within the organization.
Position Summary
The Associate Director of Corporate Relations (ADCR)&nbsp;is a full-time position responsible for building and strengthening&nbsp;relationships in a small number of our most vital corporate partners through direct support of the Senior Director of Corporate Relations. In addition, the ADCR will manages a portfolio of companies responsible for fundraising and engagement including building and growing relationships with decision-makers and C-suite leaders, demonstrating initiative and development expertise as part of the United Way of Greater Atlanta team.
This role must possess effective communication and problem-solving skills for a high-volume workload and produce a high level of quality and attention to detail in their work.
Key&nbsp;Responsibilities
This role must possess effective communication and problem-solving skills for a high-volume workload and produce a high level of quality and attention to detail in their work.
<ul><li>Manage account portfolio focused on raising resources and exceeding goals including planning and implementation of workplace campaigns and year-round engagement strategies in portfolio.</li>
<li>Prepare clear and concise objectives and materials for each donor visit.</li>
<li>Strategic engagement of companies year-round through creation and implementation of specific donor/corporate engagement strategies in partnership with the Community Engagement and/or Volunteerism departments.</li>
<li>Solicit and secure corporate gifts in support of UWGA’s Child Well-Being Agenda</li>
<li>Create a donor engagement strategy targeted at returning, new, lapsing, and lapsed donors.</li>
<li>Strong attention to detail and focus on updating campaign and individual donor information in CRM including, but not limited to, corporate contact(s), employee count, UWGA involvement, company processing information, engagement practices, campaign start/end dates, etc.</li>
<li>Work closely with the Development Operations team and Pledge Processing as necessary to ensure processed accounts reflect audit paperwork and envelopes are audited completely and correctly and project accurately.</li>
<li>Exceed yearly revenue and metric-driven goals (visits, solicitations, etc.).</li>
<li>Promote collaboration, recognizing our shared goals, and regularly collaborate with colleagues within and outside of the Office of Development.</li>

<li>Utilize knowledge gathered from donor meetings to develop and implement year-round strategies to engage, cultivate, and steward individual, workplace, and corporate donors.</li>
<li>Execute on short-term and long-range strategic fund-raising goals and objectives.</li>

Senior Development Officer

Overall Purpose of this Role: The Project Manager is responsible for implementing processes, coordinating internal donor relations activities and maintaining data integrity in support of departmental efforts. <li>Oversee all multiyear campaign gift planning and execution, including the development of solicitation plans, gift pyramids, stewardship reports, etc.</li>
<li>Work with internal and external experts to identify campaign prospects.</li>
<li>Consistently prepare detailed campaign reports on pledges, gifts, and progress.</li>
<li>Establish and sustain all campaign-relevant files.</li>
<li>Manage all campaign-related communications and collateral.</li>
<li>Coordinate all campaign-related meetings for both internal and external groups.</li>
<li>Equip campaign volunteers and staff with pertinent donor data and campaign materials.</li>
<li>Oversee campaign correspondence, reporting, and publicity releases.</li>

<li>Represent UWGA and the Office of Development at external meetings and events.</li>

<li>Manage the development and update of all campaign-related documents and collateral, including gift pyramids, case statement, print materials, etc.</li>

<li>Assist the Chief Development Officer with other identified campaign-related duties and tasks.</li>
</ul>Qualifications &amp; Competencies
Qualifications:
<ul><li>7-10 years of professional fundraising experience, with a marked track record of success to include experience managing and executing large multiyear campaigns.</li>
<li>Advanced proficiency in computer tools like Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and CRM platforms such as Andar.</li>
<li>Stellar written and verbal communication prowess.</li>
<li>Demonstrated ability to work autonomously.</li>
<li>Strong adherence to confidentiality.</li>
<li>Familiarity with relational fundraising principles and practices.</li>
<li>A fervent passion for United Way of Greater Atlanta’s mission and vision.</li>
