STATEMENT OF THE JOB:
This role is accountable for achieving fundraising goals within a portfolio of corporate campaign accounts, individual donors of all levels, including major gifts, and other revenue sources, utilizing year-round strategies to build and maintain superior relationships, cultivate donors, and engage community members in the work of United Way of Greater Toledo to meet and exceed revenue goals.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
<ul><li>Identify, cultivate, solicit, and steward donors and prospects through visits and other forms of direct personal contact in accordance with performance targets.</li>
<li>Inspire and mobilize individual and corporate donors to give, advocate, and volunteer by discovering their interests and proposing alignment with our mission and activities.</li>
<li>Utilize knowledge gathered from donor meetings to develop and implement year-round strategies to engage, cultivate, and steward individual, workplace, and corporate donors.</li>
<li>Develop and implement long-term strategies for building relationships, deepening engagement, and increasing revenue generation from a portfolio of major donors ($10,000+) and high-performing corporate partners.</li>
<li>Engage new or lapsed corporate partners and individual donor prospects by involving stakeholders with our work in creative and strategic ways.</li>
<li>Work with committees of volunteers to aid in donor prospecting and engagement efforts with corporations and individuals.</li>
<li>Deepen individual donor involvement through cultivation and solicitation of planned gifts.</li>
<li>Propose and execute on short-term and long-range strategic fund-raising goals and objectives.</li>
<li>Develop and manage volunteer and donor stewardship programs that help forward goals of the Resource Development team.</li>

<li>Create and implement prospect research and cultivation strategies to maximize potential for corporate and individual giving.</li>
<li>Partner with Community Impact staff to understand current program innovations and align them with funding opportunities for donors and prospects.</li>
<li>Work with other departments to ensure cross-functional collaboration and information-sharing.</li>
<li>Maintain Andar database as a tool to help build relationships by keeping accurate and up-to-date account records.</li>
</ul><ul><li>Utilize Andar to support data-informed decision-making about workplace accounts and analyze donor information for trends, gaps, and opportunities for revenue growth.</li>

</ul>QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:
<ul><li>Bachelor’s degree with at least four (4) years’ experience in fundraising, sales, or relationship building (nonprofit fundraising preferred).</li>

<li>Experience with managing multiple projects at one time.</li>

Development Officer

United Way of Greater Cincinnati (UWGC) is seeking a dedicated and experienced lead fundraiser to join our team. The Vice President of Development will report to the Chief Strategy Officer and play a pivotal role in executing the organization's fundraising strategy. This individual will be responsible for managing a portfolio of major donors and stakeholders, working towards increasing financial support and engagement with UWGC. The Vice President will collaborate to execute on fundraising strategy, manage team to grow resources, and engage donors to connect their passions and the mission of United Way. Director of Strategic Incubation

United Way of Greater Cincinnati (UWGC) has an immediate opening for a Director, Eastern Area to provide leadership to and coordination of United Way efforts in Clermont and Brown Counties in Ohio. Drive community efforts to support family economic well-being in the Eastern Area by building United Way support and connecting United Way impact efforts to key opportunity for progress in the community. Key Areas of Responsibility:
Development
<ul><li>Oversee the advancement of philanthropic engagement and donor investment in the Eastern Area; provide oversight for the Eastern Area workforce campaign.</li>

Director, Eastern Area

United Way of Greater Cincinnati (UWGC) fights for the economic well-being of all people in Greater Cincinnati so our entire community can thrive – now and in the future. Using three strategic impact pillars of Taking Action, Advocating, and Investing, the Community Impact team is primarily responsible for creating, implementing, and maintaining community solutions that will drive community level change across Greater Cincinnati in the areas of educational success, financial empowerment, and housing security.
As a member of the Community Impact department, this position will lead and implement initiatives of UWGC’s Black-Led Social Change Initiative (BLSC). The Senior Manager, Black Led Social Change will provide strategic leadership and daily management of BLSC – including approaches to providing capacity building for, convening/connection with, and investment in Black–led, grassroots ideas, strategies, and organizations. Additionally, the role supports co-creation of new solutions in partnership with community leaders through Champions of Change. Overall, the position aims to promote equity through community engagement and empowerment throughout UWGC’s community impact work.
Key Areas of Responsibility:
Strategic Leadership of Black-Led Social Change and Project Management
<ul><li>Provide overall leadership, including strategy and implementation, of BLSC. Project manage key efforts and projects, including:</li>

Senior Manager, Black Led Social Change
