POSITION SUMMARY(Eligible for Hybrid/ 3 days in office - Alexandria, VA)​ &nbsp;As the Marketing Project Manager, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing and optimizing operations, project management and delivering key insights for the Marketing &amp; Communications Team. This role will focus on building and tracking consistent, coordinated processes across the team that connect strategy and execution to make us more efficient and successful (includes expertise in project management systems, project intake and triage processes, resource management and planning). Your experience in project management, combined with your strategic mindset, organizational agility, and operational prowess, will be instrumental in helping United Way meet its strategic priorities to drive measurable results.Reporting to the Executive Vice President, Chief Marketing Officer, this person will partner with cross-functional teams including global brand marketing, global network communications, creative services, PR, social media, digital, and events, to help drive United Way Worldwide's mission to improve lives by mobilizing the caring power of communities around the world.KEY RESPONSIBILITIES/ESSENTIAL DUTIES OF POSITION<ul><li>Act as curator for the marketing and communications team, managing incoming projects and campaign requests by gathering requirements and resources needed for completion.</li><li>Assess the team’s capability and bandwidth to support requested projects</li><li>Drive the planning process by leading project launch process through the execution of deliverables, including development of production schedules, timelines, approvals, etc; utilize dynamic project management skills to track, triage and deliver critical departmental projects.</li><li>Identify implement and manage marketing communications efficiency tools and processes including project management and resource management.</li><li>Oversee traffic coordination for Creative Studio Team (graphic design team)</li><li>Manage relationships with external vendors and assigned agencies, ensuring the delivery of high-quality services and solutions.</li><li>Measure project performance and identify opportunities for improvement</li><li>Stay current with industry trends and emerging technologies, recommending approaches to enhance department operations.</li></ul>JOB REQUIREMENTS:<ul><li>Bachelor's degree in marketing, business administration, or a related field. Master's degree preferred.&nbsp;</li><li>Must have 10+ years of working experience in marketing with at least 5 of those years being in marketing communications operations</li><li>Must have project management experience, to include leading and triaging marketing projects/campaigns in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.&nbsp;</li><li>Must have experience using Smartsheet</li><li>Knowledge of automation and database management concepts and best practices.</li><li>Must be able to demonstrate knowledge of marketing communications best practices and multiple channel execution as well as prior proven experience of successful management of large-scale teams and programs, including proficiency in offline channels and programs.</li><li>Self-starter who is able to and eager to learn quickly with a good head for proactive problem solving, while able to adhere to standard operational procedures and deadlines.</li><li>Ability to work in fast pace and high-growth environment with tight deadlines and shifting priorities and be willing to "roll-up your sleeves" to drive organizational change.</li><li>Ability to inspire and move a cross-functional team in a unified direction and with a unified vision.&nbsp;</li><li>Must be well-organized.</li></ul>This job description describes the general nature and level of work performed by employees assigned to this position. Marketing Project Manager

Purpose of PositionThis position supports the needs and activities of the Marketing and Communications team. Responsibilities include but are not limited to digital communications, marketing communications and media support, and administrative/operational support.Key Responsibilities and Essential FunctionsMarketing Communications Support&nbsp;<ul><li>Provide support for special events, including supporting vendor bookings and management, various event research needs, maintaining RSVP lists, preparing supplies, and supporting internal meetings and communications.</li><li>Manage media list and track all media mentions.</li><li>Coordinate speaker activities, as needed, including identifying, training and scheduling speakers as requested.</li><li>Manage our success story photo/video shoot and success story database for staff.</li><li>Provide logistical support for special events, including maintaining RSVP lists, preparing supplies, supporting vendors management and supporting internal communications.</li><li>Serve as organization photographer, as needed, and/or support a professional photographer hired for special events or marketing shoots.</li><li>Perform research, as needed, to inform marketing and communications strategies, tactics and KPIs.</li></ul>Digital Communications&nbsp;<ul><li>Coordinate the development and distribution of the biweekly internal email, Monday Message.</li><li>Coordinate the distribution of marketing emails and invites, including timeline management, marketing list set-up and facilitation, data review, template-building and content approvals across departments.</li><li>Serve as internal trainer for the creation and use of marketing lists in the CRM platforms, Stratus Live and Dot Digital.&nbsp;</li><li>Support digital marketing specialist with social media and website needs, as needed.</li></ul>Operational Support<ul><li>Facilitate requests, manage preparation and maintain inventory of marketing collateral, promotional items and other brand materials.</li><li>Maintain marketing team storage areas.</li><li>Organize and appropriately store physical and digital files, including logos, photos, videos and other marketing materials.</li><li>Schedule and send meeting notices, maintain department meetings calendar, prepare meeting rooms, take/transcribe minutes and provide day-of support, etc.&nbsp;</li><li>Maintain office supplies inventory, including monitoring supply level, anticipating needed supplies, evaluating new office products, placing and expediting orders for supplies, and verifying receipt of supplies.&nbsp;</li><li>Request and manage outside-vendor estimates and invoice processing.</li><li>Manage requisition process for department credit card(s).</li><li>Assist in recruiting and supervising interns assigned to marketing.</li><li>As capacity allows, fill in for the Front Desk in answering calls from the public when regularly assigned team members are out of office.</li><li>Perform other such duties as may be assigned by the supervisory team.</li></ul>These job responsibilities are to be the main emphasis of this position.
