This position will be instrumental in assisting the Crisis &amp; 988 Director with maintaining partnerships with community mental health providers and creating a robust system of response to calls coming through 988.This position will handle incoming phone contacts as needed on our National Suicide Prevention Lifeline (NSPL), also known as 988, while collecting and documenting all required data and offering all applicable resources and referrals to callers who may be in emotional distress and suicidal crisis. They are also responsible for providing excellent service to those accessing the service by applying the equivalent of reflective listening and motivational interviewing skills in the context of an electronic exchange. Crisis &amp; 988 Operations Supervisor should have the special training and skills to interact via phone, chat and text to understand callers’ unique circumstances and needs, render immediate emotional support, provide options for ongoing support/treatment and follow up to ensure needs are being met, and the ability to train crisis/988 call center specialists to provide high quality support to callers. CPS Care Coordination will take a two-generation approach to include Parent Engagement, Economic Development, and Educational Workshops. The Family Stability Program provides services, training, and educational opportunities to parents which parallel and mirror the enrichment and educational offerings their children access through participation in CPS.Primary Job Responsibilities &amp; Duties:&nbsp;<ol><li>Responsible for identifying strengths, needs, and risks for participants and their families to develop short- and long-term goals related to housing stability and financial prosperity. Following goal development, Care Coordinators will lead participants through the process of creating an individualized service plan to help ensure that relevant resources, services, and activities participants need to reach their goals are included in their care coordination experience.&nbsp;</li><li>Develops or updates service plans with participants and their families to address their needs and to facilitate referral to appropriate treatment or service providers or facilities.</li><li>Coaches participants and/or their families to achieve personal goals, develop life skills, and/or sustain success and wellness.</li><li>Conducts activities in a culturally responsive manner and monitors the service environment to maximize participant success and well-being.</li><li>Regular note taking and data management to measure activities and outcomes in the SureImpact database.&nbsp;</li></ol>Other Job Duties:&nbsp;<ul><li>Supports approximately 60 unique students and family units annually.</li><li>Advocates on behalf of clients and families for services, basic needs, and other related issues.&nbsp;</li><li>Composes or prepares correspondence, case notes, narrative and technical reports, notifications, and related documents using computer-based applications</li><li>Conduct comprehensive, client-centered social work activities in accordance with best practices.</li><li>Conducts community and home visits (if needed) related to client needs;
