Financial &amp; Operational Management<ul><li>Oversee financial activities, including reviewing credit card statements, and accounts payable/receivable, and ensuring financial records are maintained accurately.</li><li>Work with a third-party bookkeeper to manage financial reconciliation and reporting.</li><li>Lead the annual audit or financial review process in collaboration with the Executive Committee.</li><li>Ensure all licenses, permits, insurance coverage, operational policies, and dues are up to date.</li><li>Serves as the principal resource to the board of directors and provides staff support for meetings and other board activities.</li></ul>Minimum Qualifications:<ul><li>Education: A four-year degree or equivalent experience in nonprofit management, business administration, or a related field.</li><li>Relationship-oriented: Demonstrated ability to build and maintain relationships with donors, community partners, and stakeholders to drive the mission forward.</li><li>Communication skills: Demonstrated ability to effectively communicate both verbally and in writing with a wide variety of audiences.</li><li>Strategic &amp; Data-Driven: Demonstrated ability to use data to set goals, measure impact, and guide organizational direction.</li><li>Leadership Excellence:&nbsp;Demonstrated ability to address challenges with integrity, foster a collaborative work environment, and drive measurable results.</li></ul>Organizational Structure:United Way of Cowlitz and Wahkiakum Counties operates with a small, dedicated team of two staff members, including the Executive Director. A volunteer Board of Directors, consisting of 12-15 individuals from diverse backgrounds, provides governance and strategic direction.
