The President &amp; CEO leads the growth, development and sustainability of the United Way of 
Tucson and Southern Arizona and the United Way Capital Corporation through the development 
of people, programs and the management of resources. The responsibility of the position is to 
achieve the purpose of the organization as reflected in the mission and vision statements 
adopted by the Board. 

The President &amp; CEO works in partnership with the Board of Directors and staff to provide 
leadership, vision and direction for the organization and develops organizational strategy. The 
Chief Executive leads Board approved policies, represents the organization in the community 
and manages the organization’s programs and operations, with approximately $15 million in 
revenue, a $2.7 million operating budget and 60+ full time staff.

Applicants must possess a bachelor’s degree in business administration, management or a closely 
related field and a minimum of 10 years’ experience, preferably in a nonprofit organization. 
Nonprofit management is preferred, with at least three years’ experience at an executive staff 
level. A combination of education and experience may be considered. 
 
The salary range for this position is between $300,000 and $325,000 and will be commensurate 
with experience. UWTSA offers a generous benefits packet with employer contributions for full
