Come work with us!Job Summary:&nbsp; The Human Resources Coordinator performs duties involved in the day-to-day functions of the Human Resources Department.&nbsp; Assists in the on-boarding of employees by producing new hire information packets and ensuring enrollment in systems.&nbsp; Maintains databases on employee status by coordinating and expediting the enrollment, processing and maintenance of all benefit and payroll related issues.&nbsp;&nbsp;Position Responsibilities:&nbsp;<ul><li>Responsible for preparing offer of employment packages.&nbsp; Process all hiring and benefit paperwork involved. Answers general employee benefit questions, referring employees to carriers as needed to resolve questions and problems.&nbsp;</li><li>Responsible for processing invoices, including benefit plans.</li><li>Maintains employee information in vendor websites and update status changes including salary and employment status.&nbsp;</li><li>Prepares COBRA paperwork for terminating employees.&nbsp;</li><li>Verifies&nbsp;employment and provide information for outside sources. Maintains HR files &nbsp;and annual compliance records/reports.</li><li>Manages confidential information and difficult conversations with tact and diplomacy. United Way of Lee, Hendry, and Glades (UWLHG) is a volunteer-driven organization dedicated to improving the quality of life for all people in our community. This is accomplished through fundraising, fund distribution (90+ partners), community building, volunteer advancement, and information and referral. UWLHG is a $20 million nonprofit social services organization, with 80+ employees in five locations with the main campus being located at 7273 Concourse Drive, Fort Myers, FL. The majority of funding is from private donations although UWLHG also receives local, state, and federal grants. Job Summary: This is an administrative support and coordination position, requiring experience in Human Resources and a high degree of discretion, tact, and the ability to preserve confidential and sensitive information. This individual works and interacts with the UWLHG staff, manages document retention and destruction, orders supplies, processes Purchase Orders and other duties as needed. They work directly with department teammates including the Systems Administrator and Facility Maintenance Technician.
