The Peer Support Team will support callers on their mental wellbeing recovery journey through multiple mediums including telephony, text, and video chat.The peer support team manager performs a variety of technical and professional work associated with handling calls, chats and texts. The peer support team manager provides oversight to daily operations and maintains schedule of service operation to ensure optimal coverage. This position works collaboratively with leadership in reviewing policy, procedures, training, and business practices to ensure compliance with funder contractual obligations and accreditation standards. This position works closely with the 988 operations team to ensure continuity of service for community members enrolled in the Possible Always service.The peer support team manager should have expertise and skills to interact via phone, chat and text to understand callers’ unique circumstances and needs, render immediate emotional support, provide options for ongoing support/treatment and follow up to ensure needs are being met, and the ability to train peer support specialists to provide high quality support to enrolled community members. <li>Responsible for maintaining appropriate information in the customer relationship management (CRM) software.&nbsp;</li>
<li>Collaborate with Vice President of Resource Development, Major Gift Officer, and Individual Giving Manager to create documents for donor visits and prospecting initiatives.&nbsp;</li>
<li>Ensure the accuracy of shared information, correspondence, internal databases and disseminated materials for all supported programs.</li>
<li>Identify prospective donors and members both inside and outside traditional campaign settings and market segments.</li>

<ul><li>In consultation with department colleagues, develop and implement project management plans to support HFUW fundraising priorities and goals, with an emphasis on consistency in strategy and analytics.</li>
<li>Maintain strong relationships with members of the organization’s Engagement Team (Donor and Volunteer Experiences and Resource Development).</li>
<li>As assigned, support account managers and other fundraising activities, including year-round engagement, and executing employee campaigns.&nbsp;</li>

</ul>PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
Physical demands include sitting or standing for extended periods of time, bending, occasional lifting of items weighing up to approximately 30 pounds, regularly moving throughout the building between floors, traveling to outside meetings, regular use of standard office equipment such as the telephone, copier, fax and computer.&nbsp; Demands also involve protracted concentration. As&nbsp;Senior Director, Major Giftsyou will Develop and build relationships in the community to address the health and human service needs of the community through United Way Miami. &nbsp;Focus on fundraising for both annual and Endowment campaigns from individuals who can make gifts of $100,000 or more.
PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
<ul><li>Ensures that all Tocqueville Society gifts are accounted for during the fiscal year.</li>
<li>Manages relationships with approximately 100-125 prospective and current donors who can make major/planned gifts of $100,000 or more. Identify, qualify, cultivate, solicit, and steward same.
<ul><li>Participates in all aspects of the gift cycle: 
				&nbsp;- Initiate contacts with potential leadership and major gift donors 
				&nbsp;- Develop appropriate cultivation strategies for them, including working with volunteers 
				&nbsp;- Moves potential donors in an appropriate and timely fashion toward solicitation and closure 
				&nbsp;- Makes solicitations when appropriate 
				&nbsp;- Maintains stewardship contacts with donors; adheres to the highest ethical standards; demonstrates empathetic disposition, and perseverance; reflects optimistic and positive attitude, and conveys sensitivity to the needs of the donors</li>

<li>Participates in 15-20 donor meetings a month.&nbsp;</li>
<li>Works collaboratively with and in support of volunteers, other development staff, and other United Way staff to achieve the needs of the prospects.&nbsp;</li>
<li>Participates in prospect management meetings to ensure coordination of cultivation, solicitation, and stewardship activities.&nbsp;</li>
<li>Attends United Way events as well as outside events for United Way representation, networking, etc.</li>
<li>Responsible for soliciting gifts of $100,000 and higher from individuals&nbsp;</li>
<li>Collaborate with the Development Officers to identify major and planned gift prospects within an account to create, cultivate, and solicit donors.</li>
</ul>&nbsp;Education Requirements:&nbsp; Bachelor’s degree required. Master’s preferred.&nbsp;
&nbsp;Experience Requirements:&nbsp; Five years of experience in individual fundraising with a track record of closing major gifts in education, the human services area preferred.
&nbsp;Technology Requirements:&nbsp;Internet Explorer, Word, Excel, Outlook, Andar (database) and Takes the responsibility to learn &amp; use technology to increase one’s own productivity and keep technical skills up to date. &nbsp; Maintains accurate and current data files.
Other Essential Knowledge/Skills:&nbsp;Public speaking, understanding of people, ability to adapt to changing situations, ability to understand and analyze industry trends, sales ability, computer skills, basic math skills, and negotiation skills. &nbsp;The Spanish language is not a requirement but helpful.
