SummaryAs a full-time accounting clerk for United Way of the Plains, you will have an opportunity to be part of a mission-focused results-driven team that will record financial transactions related to the various business activities of the organization through our accounts payable and accounts receivable processes. Summary:The Volunteer Income Tax Assistance (VITA) Program is a key part in the work done by United Way of the Plains Financial Stability focus area, which assists residents in becoming financially independent by focusing on education and services that build financial stability. The VITA Program Manager is responsible for the coordination and execution of the VITA program which provides free tax services for households that meet eligibility requirements.<a href="#_msocom_1">[DM1]</a> <a href="#_msocom_2">[MP2]</a> Key Responsibilities:Under the direction of the Vice President of Community Impact, the VITA Program Manager will assist in developing, implementing, and reporting on vital components of the VITA program. VITA Program Manager

Summary:The United Way of the Plains 211 Resource Navigation Center serves as a critical tool for Kansas residents in 98 counties across the state, seeking resources in their time of need.  The 211 Call Specialist is United Way’s front-line representative to the public, handling requests that can range from providing immediate simple information to cases of complex social problems, requiring research, advocacy, and crisis intervention. Our Call Specialists have both individual and shared responsibility and accountability for delivering quality, professional help to our neighbors in need.This full-time position is made for a person with a passion for helping people find the best resources in their community in their time of crisis and uncertainty.
