Purpose of Position: Under the direction of the Senior Program Manager, the Operations Specialist will manage, assess, and report on all operational components of OC Free Tax Prep program, which provides free tax preparation for low to moderate income households, individuals 60+, those with limited English proficiency, and persons with disabilities.Key Duties and Responsibilities  •    Support the Senior Program Manager in ensuring adherence to grant requirements set by various funding sources, including but not limited to California Earned Income Tax Credit (CalEITC), Internal Revenue Services (IRS,) and the American Associate of Retired Persons (AARP) Foundation  •    Work collaboratively with Program Specialist to fulfill required grant deliverables •    Track program data, including program details, objectives and results, and descriptive narratives on programmatic impact •    Coordinate with our IRS SPEC agent to receive regular Production; review for data tracking and analysis •    Complete all necessary reports for funders and internal monitoring  •    Assist with the development of the OC Free Tax Prep program budget and monitor all revenue and expense •    Administer OC Free Tax Prep partner grants and awards  •    Work with OC United Way internal departments to develop marketing, outreach, and communications collateral for the program; including by not limited to a monthly newsletter for continued volunteer and stakeholder engagement  •    Work with Program Specialist to order and distribute marketing collateral to ensure it matches grant requirements •    Support the Senior Program Manager in oversight of contractors and vendors related to operations and marketing •    Manage site coordinator contracts, including processing timesheets and expense reporting •    Assist with grant submissions and renewals •    Other duties as assigned Job Requirements/Technical Knowledge •    Knowledge of issues affecting low to moderate-income households and communities in Orange County •    Knowledge of tax preparation and/or finances strongly preferred  •    Ability to analyze statistical data from numerous sources for reporting purposes •    Ability to pass a Tax Law Certification exam upon hire (training provided) •    Ability to work independently and autonomously •    High level of attention to detail •    Interpersonal and communication skills •    Computer (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and social media savvy •    Available to work evenings and weekends if required (typically in winter and spring)Physical Demands Physical demands are representative of the requirements necessary for an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this position. Operations Specialist, OC Free Tax Prep

Purpose of Position The Project Manager is a full-time, temporary staff member reporting to the Vice President, Development. The Project Manager occupies a crucial position in fund development for the organization. In addition to general administrative duties, the Project Manager serves as a primary contact person for the leadership team, volunteers, and consultants. The principal function of this role is to ensure development efforts are running smoothly. Essential Job Functions <ol><li>In consultation with the Vice President, Development (VP), Chief Development Officer (CDO), leadership team, and consultants, lead the creation, coordination, and facilitation of specific development activities, meetings, training, cultivation activities, solicitations, and special events. </li><li>Ensure that all gifts and acknowledgements are recorded and mailed within 48 hours of receipt. Update/maintain tracking documents and database. </li><li>Communicate directly with directors, high level community leaders, and volunteer leaders to make sure their needs are supported.</li><li>Work with staff to develop research profiles for donor prospects. </li><li>Work with VP, CDO, consultants, and the communications team to create newsletters and other materials for the various constituencies. </li><li>Work closely with potential donors in scheduling and coordinating cultivation and solicitation opportunities for staff and volunteers and be able to professionally represent the organization to external constituencies. </li><li>Assist in writing and packaging proposals for gifts from major donor constituents. </li><li>Communicate extensively with development staff and all solicitors to coordinate prospect information, meetings, solicitations, and follow-up. </li><li>Function as the onsite logistics coordinator for development awareness events. This may require some local travel and time outside of normal business hours. </li><li>Perform other duties as required. Responsibilities may change under supervisor discretion. </li></ol>Minimum Qualifications <ol><li>Associate's degree in an appropriate field required. Bachelor's preferred. </li><li>Ability to maintain confidentiality and adhere to the highest ethical standards. </li><li>Direct experience in professional fundraising preferred. </li><li>Independent judgment and initiative; the ability to work independently while maintaining focus. </li><li>Proficient technical and computer skills. Moderate level experience with Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint programs and some exposure to relational databases. </li><li>Excellent written, oral, and interpersonal communication skills. </li><li>Customer service orientation. </li><li>Experience in coordinating complex schedules between various high-level administrators and high-level volunteers. </li><li>Effective organizational and time management skills. Development Project Manager

Purpose of Position
We are seeking an experienced Senior Marketing Specialist to join our team to help build brand awareness and strong, consistent brand image of Orange County United Way within the community. The incumbent will be focused on the marketing and communication of two key initiatives, United for Financial Security and United for Student Success, as well as other marketing assignments. The successful candidate will be hands on managing, organizing and delivering marketing projects for print and digital. This position is responsible for understanding the needs and documenting the requirements of each project, prioritizing delivery dates, and successfully completing projects on time. This position will manage relationships with multiple vendors, collaborate with internal teams, and with consultants to bring projects to completion meeting deadlines.
Key Duties and Responsibilities
<ul><li>Serve as the lead point of contact for the United for Financial Security and United for Student success teams for all marketing requests.</li>
<li>Implement marketing strategies for the initiatives. Understand the needs, the goals, and the audience to provide guidance and deliver efficient solutions.</li>
<li>Oversee budgets and timelines. Responsible for driving projects to on-time completion and communicate changes to project timelines, scope, and budget when applicable.</li>
<li>Track projects on the marketing project traffic tool and update status weekly.</li>
<li>Execute advertising campaigns and marketing projects from concept to completion.</li>
<li>Responsible for all the assets development for the two initiatives (email marketing, videos, photoshoots, events, advertising, collaterals, content development, social media, websites, promotional items, etc.).</li>
<li>Understand the principles of branding and design to create and update marketing materials as needed.</li>
<li>Create tracking and prepare marketing reports to brief stakeholders on key performance indicators (KPIs).</li>
<li>Support and manage other marketing projects as needed.</li>
