The position is responsible for cultivating and stewarding donors and prospects capable of making a major gift. The Stewardship Manager reports to the Senior Vice President of Philanthropy and is responsible for supporting the VP and SVP in their fundraising efforts. This position holds the primary working relationships with the leaders of the de Tocqueville society cabinet.<h4>Position responsibilities include:</h4><ul><li>Manage a portfolio of donors, meeting with them regularly and working with them to build an understanding of their philanthropic interests and how United Way can deepen our&nbsp;relationship with them.</li><li>Ensure all current donors, lapsed donors and prospects are solicited appropriately and accurately.</li><li>Participate in creating and delivering department programs and events, collateral and communication plans in coordination with Marketing &amp; Communications.</li><li>Collaborate with other departments and organizational leadership.</li><li>Monitor and maintain budget controls</li><li>Inform and administrate department strategies identifying and engaging current donors and major gift prospects to increase major and planned gifts</li><li>Help create executable, replicable and measurable fundraising outcomes for the department</li></ul><h4>Key Accountabilities</h4><ul><li>Represent United Way’s de Tocqueville Society at all United Way events (some nights and weekends).</li><li>Recruit and support de Tocqueville chairs, committee chairs and cabinet members.</li><li>Help set fundraising goals for de Tocqueville Society in partnership with Chairs and internal stakeholders.</li><li>Participate in creating and delivering department programs and events, collateral and communication plans in coordination with Marketing &amp; Communications.</li></ul><h4>KSA (Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities):</h4><ul><li>Bachelor’s degree required in related areas of position responsibilities</li><li>Minimum 3-5 years of experience in a major gifts role with proven results fer example experience working with donor capable of making a major or planned gift</li><li>Working knowledge of tax smart giving tools, planned giving programs and vehicles</li><li>Proficient in Microsoft Office</li><li>Experience with donor databases</li><li>Strong analytical and critical thinking skills</li><li>Excellent written and verbal communication skills</li><li>Team oriented with a commitment to fostering strong, productive, working relationships with all staff, volunteers, and the overall community</li></ul>We offer a comprehensive benefits package including 12 days of vacation earned over the first 12 months of employment, sick pay, 10 company holidays, 5 1/2 flexible/personal holidays, 3 volunteer days, parental leave, health, dental, vision and life insurance for you and your family, short term disability, long term disability, and a 403(b) with an organization match and 3-year vesting schedule.United Way of Greater St. Louis is an Equal Opportunity Employer.

Come be a part of something meaningful!United Way of Greater St Louis is seeking a Facilities Specialist to perform basic cleaning and maintenance of the building and grounds.&nbsp; As Facilities Specialist, each day may be a little different. ORGANIZATION OVERVIEW
United Way of Southeast Missouri (UWSEMO) supports 30 partners that help to address immediate need in our four-county service area. More importantly, we invest significant time and money into addressing what creates need in the first place. With the power of our network and widespread contacts, we tackle big issues like transportation and childcare.
UWSEMO&nbsp;seeks a full-time AmeriCorps Planning Grant Director to oversee our recently awarded AmeriCorps State Planning Grant. The chosen candidate will spend a year researching and identifying solutions to childcare and transportation that can be supported by a 2025 AmeriCorps Operations Grant and AmeriCorps members.&nbsp;If UWSEMO is awarded the Operational Grant, the person in this one-year role may transition into the role of Program Director in 2025, managing the AmeriCorps Program for 1-2 years. Salary for the year is $50,000 plus healthcare benefits, a flexible schedule, sick leave and paid holidays. There is no guarantee of full-time employment beyond the grant period.
OVERVIEW OF RESPONSIBILITIES
The chosen candidate will work closely with the Executive Director and other key staff and will be responsible for managing the Planning Grant and conducting the research, data analysis, design, development, and building of operational readiness to implement the 2025 AmeriCorps program. UWSEMO is a small, flexible team with a supportive work environment.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES/ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
<ul><li>Grant management reporting, evaluation, and communication, including monthly reporting as directed by the planning grant</li>
<li>Research, design, and formalize a program suitable for the AmeriCorps Operations Grant that would include outputs/outcomes, steps to increase organizational capacity, staffing structure, supervision, and training</li>
<li>Continue to develop advisory team to gain input from community partners, staff, stakeholders</li>
<li>Help to prepare and develop internal and outward-facing educational and marketing materials for implementation</li>
<li>Other duties as assigned</li>
</ul>EDUCATION/REQUIREMENTS
<ul><li>Bachelor’s degree in a related or relevant field</li>
<li>At least 5 years of project management experience</li>
<li>Experience with grants, AmeriCorps and nonprofits preferred</li>
<li>Superb verbal and written communication skills, especially in composing and editing materials</li>
<li>Ability to work independently, including managing multiple projects and deadlines and proactively identifying and completing tasks</li>
<li>Strong interpersonal and ethical skills, specifically working with volunteers</li>
<li>Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite &nbsp;</li>
