Purpose and Scope of Job:The Chief Financial &amp; Administrative Officer (CFAO) is the organization’s senior financial position and oversees all matters related to such. Oversee Strategic Intelligence's team's subscription renewals, invoices, and contracts. Process invoices and manage software service agreements. Develop and maintain invoice tracking reports to monitor billing dates, subscription renewals, and contracts.

Position Summary
As the Fundraising Research and Analytics Director at United Way of Central Indiana, you will play a critical role in advancing our mission to improve lives by mobilizing the caring power of community. You will use your expertise in data analytics and fundraising to provide leadership around fundraising analytics, prospect research, and reports that help inform the organizations fundraising strategy.

Responsibilities:
<ul><li>Drive the development and implementation of UWCI fundraising data strategies.</li>
<li>Play a lead role in the strategic management and day-to-day operations of donor and prospect analytics and research.</li>
<li>Lead and manage fundraising research and analytics projects, resulting in accurate, timely, and meaningful reporting of all metrics being tracked by various internal team members and executives, and by key external stakeholders.</li>
<li>Implement, execute, and optimize the CRM database for the department, as well as playing a significant role organization wide.</li>
<li>Provide analysis of data and recommendations from findings to improve performance and results of fundraising and engagement efforts, which have resulted in a 10% increase in donations.</li>
<li>Act as a subject matter expert for fundraising research and industry best practices, creating a fundraising research and analytics succession plan and strategic plan.</li>
<li>Lead the completion of all critical fundraising analytics reporting to the Executive Committee, Board of Directors, and United Way Worldwide.</li>
<li>Guide the prospect research efforts for both individual, corporate, and foundation prospects, providing accurate and meaningful prospect research, both as requested and proactively as opportunities arise.</li>
<li>Lead and guide the individual donor portfolio management in partnership with the VP of Major and Transformational Giving and Major Gifts Director.</li>
<li>Assure fundraising and engagement data is of great integrity and continually monitor for consistency and quality, developing and managing processes and efforts to assure the alignment with high and current data standards. Determine accountability measures for data integrity.</li>
<li>Create and maintain inter-departmental relationships that are mutually beneficial and create efficiency and effectiveness organization wide, with key departmental relationships including IT, Finance, Marketing, and Impact.</li>
<li>Provide clear direction and supervision to the fundraising research team, ensuring coordinated individual and team goal while promoting innovation. Regular updates with team members is expected.</li>
<li>Achieve established goals, working with the Chief Strategic Intelligence and Information Officer to ensure goals reflect and align and contribute to the broader goals of the organization.</li>

Position Summary

The Manager of Prospect Research is responsible for the management and implementation of prospect identification, pipeline development, prospect research, industry analysis, and relationship management. The Manager of Prospect Research also broadly manages portfolios by overseeing the moves management strategy, engagement plans, and appropriate accountability measures for fundraisers. Additional duties include providing actionable insight into donor behaviors through in-depth research and analysis and collaborating on projects that support the organization.
Position Duties &amp; Responsibilities

Prospect Research:
<ul><li>Develop strategy for proactive research that will guide donor-centric and data driven decision making related to prospects and donors.</li>
<li>Identify, qualify, rate, and assign individual prospects in support of fundraising goals and objectives. Advise and provide guided recommendations for grant and corporate prospects.</li>
<li>Provide prospect research to fundraisers who primarily work with leadership level ($1,000+) and major level ($5,000+) prospects.</li>
<li>Utilize research tools to analyze individual wealth indicators, including salary, stock, real estate, and other assets, to determine overall financial capacity, wealth ratings and solicitation potential.</li>
<li>Prepare and regularly maintain thorough, accurate and timely profiles on individuals, corporations and foundations as needed to support fundraising initiatives. Manage biographical records, utilizing methods such as daily news screenings, reviewing push technology/alerts, and donors lists to identify new individual, corporate and foundation prospects and monitor current prospects.</li>
<li>Manage research request queue and respond to requests in a timely manner.</li>
</ul>Portfolio Management
<ul><li>Provide strategic consultative partnership to Chief Strategic Intelligence &amp; Information Officer and Chief Fundraising &amp; Engagement Officer that includes prospect strategies, analysis and reporting related to major and transformational donors.</li>
<li>Manage updates to individual donor portfolios, prospect assignments and asks for fundraising team members within the CRM database</li>
<li>Oversee the development of policies and procedures around prospect pipeline management and activity.</li>
<li>Lead a moves management system, including establishing baselines and metrics for movement and activity.</li>
</ul>Research &amp; Projects:
