The Welcome Baby Fellow will help support UWNU’s early childhood programs in both day to day tasks and program implementation as well as supporting projects that will assist in sustaining and expanding the programs and initiatives. A major focus of this position will be to assist with volunteer training and management, increasing presence at community events to expand the program’s reach, and supporting the processing of in-kind donations for the programs. The fellow may also help with projects to build business plans to scale the program and develop a plan for having a sustainable volunteer program.

POSITION SUMMARY Manages daily VITA tax site operations to ensure compliance with IRS standards, accurate tax preparation, and effective volunteer management while supporting the Financial Stability Initiatives program through material distribution, client communication, and appointment scheduling.
