Job DescriptionPosition Summary The Community Investments Manager supports the Community Foundation and United Way of Volusia-Flagler Counties’ (CF UWVFC) strategic investment efforts. The goal of this position is to support theorganization’s ability to drive positive change by strategic investments in the community throughgrantmaking and grant management. United Way professionals should exhibit core competencies:mission-focused, relationship-oriented, collaborator, results-driven and brand-steward.Duties and Responsibilities Business Acumen &amp; Strategic Direction • Prepare and submit reporting for grants and contracts as required. • Collect and internally distribute reporting data to inform and communicate impact of investments. • Serves as primary administrator for grant CRM system, including user management,building/maintaining forms such as grant applications/evaluations and creating data setsand reports. • Steward non-profits through grant application, award process and follow up reporting inthe CRM system. • Oversee 2-1-1 database by gathering and entering up-to-date information about services inVolusia and Flagler Counties. • Manage grant opportunities and community partnerships related to the 2-1-1database.Outward Turning • Maintain relationships with non-profits, funding agencies and partners.Talent Management &amp; People Development • Receive and provide feedback in a constructive way.Operational Planning &amp; Execution • Support events as needed.&nbsp; • Other duties as assigned.Qualifications • Bachelor’s degree in a related field OR four years of relevant work experience. • Exceptional interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate the key stakeholders, peers and staff. • High degree of professional integrity to deal ethically with confidential information. • Ability to work under minimal supervision. • Excellent computer skills (minimum of Microsoft software programs) and attention to details and deadlines. • Data entry experience working with a customer relationship management system. • Possess a valid driver’s license and have use of insured motor vehicle.Preferred • Grant and contract management experience.Working Conditions &amp; Physical Requirements Work is carried out in a controlled, agreeable environment as generally represented by normal officeconditions. <h2>Purpose of Position:</h2>The Volunteer Coordinator position is responsible for leading the recruitment, placement, training, and retention of volunteers in support of the Volunteer Income Tax Assistance (VITA) program. This position plays a critical role in advancing the mission of United Way and the RealSense program by ensuring that all volunteer activities are aligned with IRS regulations, organizational goals, and community needs.
