United Way of Southwest Minnesota is an autonomous, local organization working to create lasting change in people's lives and the communities we serve in Lincoln, Lyon, Murray, Yellow Medicine and portions of Cottonwood, Lac qui Parle, Nobles and Redwood counties of Minnesota. Our mission is to unite people and resources to improve lives and strengthen communities in southwest Minnesota.
United Way fights for the health, education and financial stability of every person in every community. In southwest Minnesota, we focus on health, education, financial stability, hunger and safety & well-being. United Way of Southwest Minnesota initiatives, community partner programs and partnerships will serve 48,600 local people in 2018-19. Over the last 5 years, United Way of Southwest Minnesota has re-invested more than $2.3 million locally to benefit the lives of our friends and neighbors!
