United Way of Greater Toledo, serving Lucas, Wood, and Ottawa Counties is a nonprofit organization that brings together people, companies and nonprofits to create positive change in our community. We work to solve issues no single donor, charity or government agency can handle alone, to improve lives and strengthen communities. As an agent of community change that inspires hope, creates opportunity, and champions people, we direct our time, efforts and donations to the programs that best address local issues. We envision a community where all individuals and families achieve their human potential through education, income stability, and healthy lives.
Our promise is to change the odds so children and families, regardless of their circumstances, have the same chance to succeed in school and in life.
More than 50,000 donors, advocates, and volunteers are joining us to help change the odds in Lucas, Wood, and Ottawa Counties.
With YOU, we can create a brighter future for our community!

It is our aim, therefore, that our staff, partners, strategies, and investments reflect these core values.
