United Way of the Columbia-Willamette is a local nonprofit organization working to break the cycle of childhood poverty.
Our organization is part of a network of approximately 1,800 United Ways across the world. Each United Way, including our own, operates as an independent 501c3 nonprofit organization and tackles issues specific to its region. Our goal locally is to cut childhood poverty in half by 2025. Since our founding in 1920, we have joined together with local nonprofits, businesses, government, and social service agencies to address the issues that matter most to the areas we serve.
Our research tells us that our area's most pressing issue is childhood poverty, and together with your help, we intend to give every child, no matter what their family's income or zip code, a fair chance to succeed.
Join us! Together we can give every child a fair chance.
