Spokane County United Way is one of the largest funders for local nonprofits in Eastern Washington. We align and support work that prepares children for kindergarten, ensures youth are successful through quality after school programming, and creates on-time high school graduates ready for college or careers.
We work to prevent and mitigate the impact of adverse childhood experiences. Early intervention and support services for vulnerable families ensure our children are nurtured and safe. We support access to mental health and substance abuse services.
We collaborate to provide families stable, affordable housing and prevent crises from escalating. Our efforts lead to family-sustaining work.
