Manage the annual tax return completion process, with direct responsibility for coordinating and collaborating with the external tax return provider.·&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Review approval of UWCA payroll and related entries.·&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Responsible for annual renewal of sales tax exemptions for all entities·&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Review employee time allocation monthly to ensure compliance with organizational objectives.<h4>Monthly Agency Allocation Process</h4>·&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Review and approve monthly agency allocation payment and reporting process.·&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Research and answer confirmation requests from agency auditors.<h4>Banking Function</h4>·&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Oversee banking functions, including payment activity, account authorizations, internal controls, reconciliation, and review.<h3>General Ledger</h3>·&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Maintain chart of accounts and code all new account numbers to reports.·&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Balance &amp; prepare journal entries as necessary for corrections or re-class after analytical review.·&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Review and approve purchase orders in accordance with workflows.·&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Review and approve all entries made by direct reports.·&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Review deferred salary entries and amounts to be paid yearly.·&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Prepare or review standard monthly entries as needed.·&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Prepare budget entries for input into accounting software to assist in financial reporting.·&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Maintain budget changes within line items as needed throughout the year.<h4>Financial Statements and Audit</h4>·&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Communicate close-out deadlines for year end and monthly reports.·&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Supervise approval of monthly and quarterly financial statements, which include, balance reports monthly, analyze and explain variances to budgeted amounts·&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Coordinate supporting schedules with direct-reports and Grant Controller and approve footnotes.·&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Supervise and prepare PBC audit schedules &amp; work with auditors.·&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; After the audit is complete, roll the year in MIP and enter bank holidays.Loans &amp; Advances·&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Maintain all loans and advances to agencies, drafting agreements with signatures as needed.·&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Management experience is necessary. Experience with non-profits a plus. Audit experience is also a plus. Proficiency in Microsoft Office, specifically Excel.
