The Resource Navigator will work to determine client needs, screen for eligibility for assistance, connect to community resources, apply criteria for assistance funds and provide financial education services through group workshops and individual counseling sessions.</p><p>The Resource Navigator will receive training to work directly with clients in a group and one-on-one on financial education topics such as budgeting, decision-making, credit and related topics.</p><p>Work will primarily take place in the United Way office and at designated locations in coordination with network and community partners. The position will involve some travel within Harrisonburg and Rockingham County.&nbsp;</p>
