Expanded learning opportunities will be offered to primary and secondarystudents in academic, social emotional, and extracurricular activities on campus and at designated satellite sites.&nbsp;Primary Job Responsibilities:<ol><li>Collaborate with community providers and school leadership to integrate enrichment programming into the unique educational environment of Gulfstream Community Partnership School (outside of designated core academic classroom learning time).</li><li>Consult with diverse stakeholders to develop, market, and sustain locally relevant programs for Hallandale Beach youth and families.&nbsp;</li><li>Maintain accurate and complete participation and engagement data.</li><li>Manage contracting, financial reporting, and evaluation of expanded learning providers.&nbsp; &nbsp;</li></ol>&nbsp;Secondary Job Duties:&nbsp;<ol><li>Serve as a core member of the Community Partnership School Operations Team.&nbsp;</li><li>Build rapport with teachers, staff, parents and community members to be an advocate for students and community needs.</li><li>Increase on-site extracurricular programs, mentor services, and service opportunities.</li><li>Expand athletic opportunities for students and families at Gulfstream Academy.</li><li>Coordinate on-site tutoring and homework help services.</li><li>Engage partner colleges and universities to create internship opportunities that meet the expanded learning priorities of the community.</li><li>Collaborate with current service providers to support meaningful academic, cultural, and recreational programming.</li><li>Recruit, train, coordinate, and show appreciation to volunteers leading expanded learning programs.&nbsp;</li><li>Create partnerships for new field trips and off campus experiences.</li><li>Host collaboration spaces for service providers.&nbsp;</li><li>Supervise the Student Leadership Council.</li><li>Communicate actively with caregivers to identify student needs and program eligibility.</li><li>Prepare contingency plans and remain prepared to supervise youth to maintain continuous programming.</li><li>Proactively schedule student engagement throughout the calendar year, including summer months and during school breaks.</li><li>Seek community support for a feeding/snack program to benefit extracurricular scheduling.</li></ol>Other Job Duties:<ol><li>Performs other duties and assumes other responsibilities as requested by supervisor.</li><li>Follow and enforce school district policies and procedures.&nbsp;</li><li>Oversee facility management and provide leasing participants with the appropriate leadership.</li><li>Present the Community Partnership School™ model to multiple stakeholders, including students, caregivers, and community leaders.&nbsp;</li><li>Prepare written materials for the purposes of documenting activities, providing written reference and/or conveying information.&nbsp;</li><li>Participate actively in departmental meetings, training and education, as well as the quality improvement process.</li><li>Collaborate in fundraising and grant writing.</li><li>Possible arrangement of transportation of clients.</li><li>As needed, work flexible hours including evenings and weekends,</li><li>Due to the leadership role United Way is called upon to play in the community, particularly during times of crisis, it is the expectation that all United Way staff will be fully engaged in the organization's crisis plan and response efforts.</li><li>Understands and respects the diversity of economic, linguistic and cultural backgrounds and situations.</li><li>Actively participate in the COA accreditation process.&nbsp;</li></ol>Supervises: No Supervision DutiesEducation, Skills and Experience Requirements:&nbsp;<ul><li>Graduation from an accredited college or university with a bachelor’s degree in an Education, Human Services, or Social Services related field and one to two years of combined experience in community outreach OR graduation from an accredited college or university with an associate’s degree in an Education, Human Services, or Social Services related field and three to four years of combined experience in community outreach.
