General Description: &nbsp;The Community Partnership School Manager assists in the implementation of the Community Partnership School™ program in Hallandale Beach, FL. This role is responsible for leading a team, developing programs, and managing grant requirements in a school environment at Hallandale Magnet High School.&nbsp;Primary Job Responsibilities:&nbsp;<ol><li>Responsible for fostering a positive environment and day-to-day operations of direct staff, to include staff coaching, supervision, and performance. Additional management responsibilities include recruiting, hiring, training, and development.&nbsp;</li><li>Serve as the programmatic contact for school administrators and campus-based programs.&nbsp;</li><li>Assist in identifying, developing, and implementing engaging programming that supports the collective vision of community schools.&nbsp;</li><li>Manage data collection across the Community Partnership Schools (CPS) network of services at&nbsp;Hallandale Magnet High School.</li></ol>Other Job Duties: &nbsp;<ol><li>Demonstrate understanding of high-needs communities and knowledge of community organizing principles.&nbsp;</li><li>Build rapport with teachers, staff, parents, and community members to be an advocate for student and community needs.</li><li>Maintain accurate and complete student participation and engagement data.</li><li>Develop a volunteer network to support community schools.&nbsp;</li><li>Connect participants with expressed social service need to the Hallandale Beach CPS network and track referral satisfaction.&nbsp;</li><li>Participate in event planning and direct logistics to include marketing, budgeting, and scheduling.&nbsp;</li><li>Establish annual team goals and objectives, track and report results.</li><li>Deliver timely communication through regular management and team meetings.</li><li>Coach, support, and evaluate team member performance, taking corrective action if needed.</li><li>Prepare written materials for the purposes of documenting activities, providing written reference, and/or conveying information.&nbsp;</li><li>Lead the Community Partnership School Operations Team.&nbsp;</li><li>Sit on school committees and contribute to a collaborative planning structure.</li><li>Present the Community Partnership School™ model to multiple stakeholders, including students, parents, and community leaders.</li><li>Follow and enforce district policies and procedures.&nbsp;</li><li>Maintain program level budgets with regular financial recordkeeping.&nbsp;</li><li>As needed, work flexible hours including evenings and weekends.</li><li>Perform other duties and assume other responsibilities, as requested by supervisor.</li><li>Due to the leadership role United Way is called upon to play in the community, particularly during times of crisis, it is the expectation that all United Way staff will be fully engaged in the organization's crisis plan and response efforts.</li><li>Understands and respects the diversity of economic, linguistic, and cultural backgrounds and situations.</li><li>Actively participate in the COA accreditation process.&nbsp;</li></ol>Supervises: Supervises CPS Coordinator Staff at Hallandale Magnet High School.Education, Skills and Experience Requirements:&nbsp;<ul><li>Graduation from an accredited college or university with a Bachelor’s degree in an Education, Human Services, or Social Services related field and four years of combined experience in community outreach OR&nbsp; Graduation from an accredited college or university with an Associate’s degree in an Education, Human Services, or Social Services related field and eight years of combined experience in community outreach.&nbsp;</li><li>Ten years of experience in children’s services, education, or community health with at least two of those years in program development and administration, may be supplemented for an accredited degree.</li><li>Prior Supervisor experience required.</li><li>Proficiency required in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint).</li><li>Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multi-task with a flexible, organized, and can-do attitude.</li><li>Demonstrated ability to build and maintain effective working relationships with key stakeholders.</li><li>Excellent verbal and written communication skills (English required; Physical Demands:&nbsp;The environment is climate controlled (i.e., heated and air-conditioned). Lighting is adequate through overhead lighting as well as windows and blinds. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.
