Key Accountabilities

ï· Build trusting relationships with participants and their families while providing general support and

can be found.

The Grants and Resource Development Project Manager is part of the Resource Development team and works closely with the Associate Director of Grants, other departments, donors, and volunteers while holding true to UWABC’s long-term strategic vision.Position responsible for supporting the growth of the grants portfolio, managing UWABC’s direct mail campaign, engaging individual donors through an affinity group, and supporting the Resource Development department with various projects.&nbsp;&nbsp;<h3>Key Responsibilities</h3>Assist Associate Director of Grants (ADG) with grant writing, management, reporting&nbsp;<ul><li>Conduct research to identify potential funding opportunities aligned with organizational goals</li><li>Support the ADG with drafting, editing, and submitting compelling grant proposals and letters of inquiry</li><li>Maintain a calendar of grant deadlines, ensuring timely submissions and follow-ups</li><li>Monitor grant budgets and prepare progress reports for funders as required</li><li>Collaborate with program teams to gather data and outcomes for grant reporting</li></ul>Manage Direct Mail program<ul><li>Coordinate the development and execution of the annual direct mail campaign</li><li>Collaborate with vendors to ensure timely production and distribution of appeals</li><li>Contact vendor to obtain updated addresses for donors and update data in CRM</li><li>Analyze campaign results and recommend strategies for improvement</li></ul>Affinity Group Leadership<ul><li>Manage one donor affinity group by providing leadership, strategy development, and event execution</li></ul>Lead All Donor Acknowledgements<ul><li>Prepare personalized thank-you letters for donors per the timeline and UWABC brand standards</li><li>Update digital acknowledgement templates annually</li><li>Work with Resdev team to secure volunteer signatures</li><li>Oversee donor acknowledgement SOP</li></ul>Portfolio Support for Resource Development Staff&nbsp;<ul><li>Assist other Resource Development staff with updating donor profiles, conducting donor research, and developing donor packets for individual donor visits (portfolios)</li><li>Support&nbsp; team with event planning and stewardship activities</li><li>Assist with special projects and initiatives as assigned by supervisor</li><li>Work cross-departmentally to address time-sensitive priorities effectively</li><li>Participate in United Way events and experiences as scheduled or requested</li></ul>This job description is not designed to cover or contain a comprehensive listing of activities, duties or responsibilities that are associated with the position.
