Special Projects Manager

Do you want to see a more educated, prosperous and safer Acadiana? A place where all people and families achieve their full potential? If you want to help advance the common good by taking on community issues that no one organization can solve on its own, we want to talk to you.

United Way of Acadiana is the leading community solutions provider in the region. We provide innovative and results-oriented programming, and we mobilize more than 4,000 volunteers each year.  We were named the Outstanding Nonprofit in Louisiana In 2014, and the Greater Lafayette Chamber of Commerce recognized us with the Innov8 award for our work in public schools through The Leader in Me program.  We are ranked in the top three United Ways nationally for our market size because of our community impact work. We invest in making the greatest possible impact in the parishes we serve.

We’re bold. We take on tough issues, and we make an impact. We bring together people, resources, passion and expertise to make positive changes in our community. We have a laser focus on education, income and health—the building blocks for a good quality of life. We are independent, separately incorporated and governed by a board of volunteer community leaders.

You can be part of the major change we’re creating by lending your talents and skills in innovation to mobilize others to LIVE UNITED.
