United Way of East Central Iowa (UWECI) is seeking a dynamic and energetic individual to lead the Volunteer Engagement team. This management position provides community and organizational leadership that positions UWECI as a leader in volunteerism and creates measurable impact for people, companies, and communities. The successful candidate will demonstrate expertise in engaging key stakeholders, providing leadership to volunteers, and supervising programs and staff. The Senior Manager, Volunteer Engagement must demonstrate knowledge of opportunities and trends in the field of volunteer engagement.
This role requires effective decision-making, project management, and communication skills; background in a related field; and experience with strategic planning, facilitation, relationship management, and network building. Qualifications include a four-year degree from an accredited college and the ability to work with diverse populations.
