As a Resource Coordinator with United Way of the Plains, you will assist with all aspects relating to the planning, coordination, implementation and execution of various projects critical to the success of the organization in carrying out its mission. This full-time position is essential in helping departments stay on task and successfully carry out projects efficiently and within deadlines by completing both individual tasks and team activities. The successful candidate will be an outward-facing professional with exceptional communication, organization and customer service skills, with an empathetic demeanor.

Key Responsibilities:

Under the direction of the Vice President of Community Impact, the Resource Coordinator will assist in developing, implementing, and executing on several key projects that are essential to the work of United Way of the Plains. A successful candidate must have strong professional, interpersonal, project management and communication skills. Focus of responsibilities will include (and are not limited to): 

  • Manage assistance funds and reporting for United Way of the Plains key stakeholders. 
  • Assist with coordination and implementation of United Way of the Plains special events and volunteer activities.
  • Assist with efficient distribution of donor solicitation materials and various marketing materials. 
  • Printing, copying, and email/messages of company materials.
  • Maintain confidential and sensitive information.
  • Supporting other departments or executives as needed.

Minimum Qualifications: 

• Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills, along with commitment to detail and accuracy.

• Demonstrated problem-solving skills, with ability to work independently as well as part of a team.

• Proficient in Microsoft Office products, database experience a plus.

• Ability to work with various levels of staff, community representatives, and volunteers.

• Possess efficient time management skills with ability to prioritize and multitask. 

• Ability to show good discernment, and be resourceful and creative.

• Ability to manage confidential information in a professional and empathetic manner.

• A minimum of two years related experience; post high-school education will be considered in lieu of experience.
