ORGANIZATION OVERVIEW
We Live United™ in Johnson County, Indiana. Located about 20 miles south of Indianapolis, United Way of Johnson County is a not-for-profit organization managed and operated by a volunteer board of directors who either live or work in our community. Since our beginning in 1961, local volunteers have made certain that our neighbors have meaningful lives. Our organization is responsible for looking at the needs of the community, raising the funds and allocating those funds appropriately in order to meet the pressing needs of Johnson County residents. United Way of Johnson County provides funding for 18 health and human-service agencies and seven direct programs in our community.
