Compensation: $ 38,000, Exempt

Benefits: 7 days’ vacation, Federal Holidays

Local division of a National Non-Profit Organization has an immediate opening for a proven leader with management experience to assume the position of Executive Director. Successful candidate must possess excellent verbal and written communication skills, a strong sense of accountability; a fair and thoughtful approach to management, experience in fundraising and financial management, with 3-5 years’ experience in a leadership position. Must have ability to inspire, motivate, and train volunteers while establishing and build relationships with top leaders in the community.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Provide professional, executive guidance and direction for the organization
  • Ensure the organization has the financial resources necessary to carry out its mission
  • Prepare annual budget
  • Provide accurate financial statements and financial analysis to the Board of Directors
  • Drive key results for the organization
  • Identify, cultivate and solicit prospective donors and key leaders of prospective new corporate partners;
  • Responsible for gaining new Pacesetter accounts for donations while continuing to strengthen the relationship with current donors
  • Responsible for adherence to policies, procedures and programs established by the Board and provide to keep organization viable and responsive to changing needs.
  • Work with the Board of Directors and Board Committees

Position Requirements:

  • Demonstrated track record of promoting diversity and an ability to build collaboration with the community at large
  • Experience in developing partnerships, building teams and conflict management
  • Experience in building revenue and increasing philanthropic support
  • Experience in fundraising and financial management
  • 3 to 5 years leadership experience
  • Prior experience managing volunteers
  • Management of a nonprofit budget preferred

Education Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Non-profit Management or relatedfield, OR equivalent work experiences in related field will be considered
