Job description

OVERVIEW: Greeting everyone who walks through the door with a smile, this service-oriented team player finds joy in answering donor questions and assisting staff with providing positive experiences. Managing mailings and inventory, they keep the office running smoothly and communicate effectively with their colleagues to meet weekly and monthly deadlines.

Striving for excellence, they process financial transactions and update CRM records in alignment with data standards. They are task driven with a keen eye for details and a high level of proficiency with data entry. The ideal candidate is a self-starter who is passionate about creating a positive impact in our community. They are collaborative, relational, adaptable, and a quick learner who isn’t afraid to ask questions.

JOB OVERVIEW:

· Greet donors and visitors in person and via the telephone, assisting with inquires

· Process financial transactions and update donor records

· Assist with creating accounts and contacts

· Maintain physical documentation and filing for pledges and payments

· Monitor local obituaries, updating donor records as needed

· Assist with data cleanup and maintenance

· Manage mailings (solicitations, thank you letters, statements, tax receipts, and checks)

· Assist with Donor Helpdesk management

· Maintain inventory of office supplies, stationary, and giveaways

· Assist with office maintenance and vendor interactions

· Assist with scheduling and preparing for meetings

REQUIREMENTS:

· Customer service experience

· Data Entry and/or Financial Processing Experience

· Excellent typing skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office programs

· Valid U.S. driver’s license

· Ability to pass a background check

PREFERRED:

· Office management experience

· CRM system experience
