POSITION SUMMARY:
Is responsible for financial program management and providing program accountability for the overall program including audit under the Uniform Guidance, Improper Payments Information Act assessment, and Grant Programs Directorate review. Serves as a member of the leadership team for the EFSP department. Is responsible for directing the daily work activities of assigned team members within the EFSP department. Has responsibility for establishing annual work goals and objectives for assigned team members.
Determines work tactics, project deliverables, and resource requirements. Participates in the development of departmental action plans, work processes, and systems.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES/ESSENTIAL DUTIES OF POSITION: An individual must be able to perform each essential duty listed below at a satisfactory level:
- Serve as lead to manage financial functions of EFSP Congressional appropriations, yearly and supplemental.
- Serve as lead for all EFSP audits, including independent and UWW Internal Audits and other audits/reviews.
- Prepare yearly budget for EFSP National Board’s administrative activities.
- Prepare monthly reports for National Board meetings, HHS and program director.
- Direct the EFSP staff in Final Report and Compliance Review Processes, including design, schedule and prepare material with staff assistance.
- Assist the Vice President with requests from the EFSP National Board and Congress.
- Assist the Vice President with the EFSP National Board monthly meetings, as needed.
- Direct onsite training and compliance reviews of Local Recipient Organizations, including EFSP staff.
- Review outside audits of the LROs to ensure compliance with the Uniformed Guidance and EFSP National Board guidelines.
- Provide Consultation and Technical Assistance to Local Board and Local Recipient Organizations, as required.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:
- Minimum requirements include a bachelor’s degree in accounting with at least six to eight year of progressive experience in a leadership role.
- Excellent communication and project management skills.
- Ability to interact with all levels of staff.
- Knowledge of Emergency Food and Shelter Program a plus.

SALARY STATEMENT
The budgeted salary range for this position is currently $120,000.00 to $135,000.00 per year. Proffered salaries are determined by several factors including applicant’s knowledge, skills, experience, position, equity, and market data.
