Salary: $64,943-$82,982


The Digital Marketing & Social Media Manager is responsible for developing, implementing, tracking and optimizing the organization’s digital marketing campaigns across all digital channels. This position leads integrated digital marketing campaigns from concept to execution. The Digital Marketing & Social Media Manager works with the marketing team and other departments to launch campaigns on time and on budget.


  • Ensure successful running of digital channels and campaigns that contributes to growth across channels.
  • Plan and manage social media for United Way and Our Promise.
  • Grow website traffic to enable digital growth.
  • Monitor and report metrics monthly to establish effectiveness of social media posts and paid advertising.
  • Develop a workable digital media strategy.
  • Serve as onsite event support and participate in tabling events as well as serve as an on-air facilitator for UWCCR live social media segments.
  • Collaborate with supporting teams to create engaging content.
  • Identify the latest digital technologies and current digital trends effecting the industry.
  • Measure and report performance of all digital marketing campaigns, and assess against goals (ROI and KPIs).
  • Brainstorm new and creative growth strategies.
  • Collaborate closely with the Marketing & Communications Manager to plan and execute integrated marketing campaigns.
  • Plan, execute, and measure experiments and conversion tests.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to create landing pages and optimize user experience.
  • Utilize strong analytical ability to evaluate end-to-end customer experience across multiple channels and customer touch points.
  • Assist with miscellaneous projects and requests on an as needed basis.


  • BA in marketing or a related field preferred.
  • 5+ years of experience in digital marketing.


  • Demonstrable experience leading and managing SEO/SEM, marketing database, email, social media and/or display advertising campaigns.
  • Experience working with social media management platforms like Sprout Social.
  • Highly creative with experience in identifying target audiences and devising digital campaigns that engage, inform and motivate.
  • Experience in optimizing landing pages and user funnels.
  • Solid knowledge of website analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics).
  • Working knowledge of ad serving tools (e.g., DART, Atlas).
  • Experience in setting up and optimizing Google Adwords campaigns.
  • Working knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript development and constraints.
  • Working knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite.
  • Strong analytical skills and data-driven thinking.
  • Up-to-date with the latest trends and best practices in online marketing and measurement.
  • Ability to create video content.


  • Communicate with staff, volunteers, donors, agencies, companies and other customers by telephone, email, and in face-to-face, one-to-one or group settings.
  • Use telephone, laptop, computer, monitor, mouse, keyboard, printer/copier, calculator and standard office equipment.
  • Sit at a desk for extended periods of time.
  • Lift and move objects up to 50 for event setup/teardown.
  • Have sufficient finger/hand coordination and dexterity to operate and adjust office equipment such as telephone, computer, printer/copier, etc.
