United Way of the Lakeshore seeks a Corporate Philanthropy Lead to join our professional team as a key champion of human need and potential. More than a fundraiser, we create opportunities for people in our community to work together to improve the health, education and financial stability of every person. We move quickly to meet changing needs in our community and need a strong leader to assist with mission advancement. This position is responsible for the creative development, implementation, and evaluation of corporate giving strategies for United Way of the Lakeshore. You will help create and manage our corporate giving campaign as well as our annual workplace campaign, along with supporting our philanthropic giving initiatives.
The right candidate will be a driven and detail-oriented self-starter with exceptional communications skills. Have at least three years of experience in successful fundraising roles, comparable private and/or non-profit experience, related business and/or sales operations, or lived experiences. Be self-directed, able to manage projects with competing deadlines. Have experience working with a nonprofit board and volunteers. Exceptional interpersonal skills and a proven ability to network and connect with diverse stakeholders. Have experience building multi-year resource development plans, be tech-savvy and comfortable with new platforms, be an excellent and enthusiastic writer and editor.
