Basic Job Summary:
The Community Impact Coordinator will have an opportunity to impact the way we approach funding priorities, strengthen our relationships with local service providers, fully integrate the ALICE Project into all areas of our work and connect volunteers to meaningful service opportunities. The coordinator will join a dynamic, collaborative team that is committed to living united, inside, and out.
Duties and Responsibilities

Acquiring new and growing existing workplace campaigns as part of overall UWA fundraising

Foster strong relationships with local community members, nonprofits, businesses, and government agencies.

Organize and participate in community events and outreach efforts to build awareness and support for United Way of Acadiana's mission.

Support community initiatives including, but not limited to the annual Day of Action, Stuff the Bus, and teacher Awards.

Organize and participate in community events and outreach efforts to build awareness and support for United Way of Acadiana's mission.

Effectively communicate program updates, successes, and challenges to internal and external stakeholders.

Manage and fulfill other duties related to programs, initiatives and volunteers as assigned.

Establish and maintain a system for collecting and analyzing data related to program outcomes and impact.

Regularly assess program progress and adjust strategies as needed to achieve desired results.

Prepare comprehensive reports on the impact of programs for internal and external stakeholders.

Effectively communicate program updates, successes, and challenges to internal and external stakeholders.

Collaboration closely with other leaders on the impact team to ensure collaboration across the team, cross-training and coordination.
Education, Skills & Qualifications:
Requirements before Hire:
Proof and maintenance of a valid driver’s license
Proof and maintenance of Vehicle Insurance and reliable transportation
Must pass a Louisiana State Police Criminal Background Check
Experience:

Minimum of three years' experience in related field receivable. Non-profit, issue-based communications preferred.

Minimum of three years' experience in finance/accounts receivable. Non-profit, issue-based communications preferred.

Strong understanding of nonprofit operations and impact measurement.

Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to present complex data in a clear and accessible manner.

Ability to work collaboratively with diverse teams and stakeholders.

Strong organizational and project management skills with the ability to meet deadlines and handle multiple priorities effectively.

Hours of Work: 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., M-F
