The Communications Coordinator will create and curate a variety of messaging for digital and traditional platforms, including an annual report, blog posts, brochures, infographics, fact sheets, website copy, social media, success stories, scripts, press releases, and template communications tools for the organization. He or she will ensure uniform delivery of appropriate messaging to all relevant stakeholders and audiences.
He or she is responsible for working collaboratively with internal stakeholders to proactively perform the research, creation and/or distilling of the most compelling stories and narratives that will drive awareness, adoption, and loyalty from our customers and core audiences, such as corporate partners, individual donors, policymakers, community leaders, and strategic segments.
He or she will provide quality control for all content marketing and communications materials and assist with communications strategy support for key organizational programs and initiatives.
The Communications Coordinator will develop and cultivate effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders to deliver communications that clearly articulate and help shape the relationships United Way of Southwest Virginia has with its core audiences.
