UWCF seeks a full-time Chief Development Officer (CDO). The CDO oversees all aspects of UWCF’s fundraising, resource development strategies and initiatives, including maintaining and enhancing current efforts and creating new revenue streams through the annual workplace campaign, individual and major donor programs, planned-giving, endowment, in-kind gifts, and targeted impact campaigns while furthering the overall mission, growth and expansion, ensuring stability over long-term change and development of the organization. Supervisory responsibilities encompass the Senior Resource Development Team.
At least a Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited four-year college or university is required and at least five – seven years’ related experience in development. Demonstrated oral and written communications skills, including public speaking, are mandatory; likewise proven success in leading teams to fulfill stated goals and objectives. Strategic planning experience, particularly in areas of fundraising and resource development, are critical to success in this position. This is an executive position requiring someone who can lead a team and effectively operate in an environment with major donors, employers, board members, and stakeholders, while playing a critical role in UWCF’s management team.
Experience managing resource development and/or sales strongly preferred. Similarly, a background in fundraising in not-for-profits in the Central Florida area is a plus. Competitive salary and benefits. Send resumes to email@example.com.
