Position Title: Business Partner, Human Resources
Status: Full-time, exempt
Salary: An amount in the range of $50,000 - $55,000 annually.

Location: Work from home flexible, 3 days/week in-person, with remote work 2 days/week. Primarily based out of our Denver office at 711 Park Ave W, Denver, CO 80205

How You'll Help
Under general supervision, this role (HRBP) position is responsible for aligning business objectives with employees and management in all designated business units. The position formulates partnerships across the organizations to deliver value-added services to management and employees that reflects the business objectives of the organization. The HRBP performs tactical HR related duties which includes full-cycle recruiting, payroll, some benefit administration, compensation, employee relations, employee engagement, and implementation of policies and procedures following organization's mission, vision, and core values. Additionally, the HRBP will support Human Resources initiatives, organizational strategy, and overall organizational outcomes.

Essential Responsibilities

  • Conducts weekly meetings with respective business units.
  • Oversees payroll and day-to-day benefits administration functions.
  • Work closely with the CHR/DO to analyzes trends and metrics to develop solutions, programs, and policies.
  • Manages and resolves complex employee relations issues. Conducts effective, thorough, and objective investigations.
  • Works closely with management and employees to improve work relationships, build morale, and increase productivity and retention.
  • Leads full-cycle recruiting functions, including planning, posting, interviewing, onboarding, and offboarding.
  • Audits and enters all new hire, change, and termination information into HRIS.
  • Consults with line management, providing HR guidance when appropriate.
  • Assist with analyzing trends and metrics.
  • Assists HR team with resolving employee relations issues (e.g., coaching, counseling, career development, disciplinary actions), including conducting effective, thorough, and objective employee relations fact-finding reviews.
  • Maintains in-depth knowledge of legal requirements related to day-to-day management of employees, reducing legal risks, and ensuring regulatory compliance.
  • Works closely with management and employees to improve work relationships, build morale, and increase productivity and retention.
  • Provides HR policy guidance and interpretation.
  • Assist with the day-to-day efficiency operation of the department, including upkeeping department filing.
  • The HRBP must demonstrate and support a culture of diversity, equity and inclusion.
  • Ability to serve as an advocate for individuals of all ethnicities, genders, ages and backgrounds.
  • Ability to cultivate and develop inclusive and equitable working relationships.

What You'll Need: Education, Experience, and Skills

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Human Resources Management or related discipline.
  • SHRM-CP or SHRM-SCP preferred, but not required.
  • Minimum 3-5 years of direct human resources and or management experience.
  • Working knowledge of multiple human resource disciplines, including compensation practices, organizational diagnosis, employee relations, diversity, performance management, and federal and state respective employment laws.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to acquire a thorough understanding of the organization's hierarchy, jobs, qualifications, compensation practices, and the administrative practices related to those factors.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office products Word, Excel and PowerPoint. HRIS experience preferred.
