Do you have a passion for creating connections and finding resources for families and individuals? United Way of the Greater Lehigh Valley is seeking 8 individuals to serve as AmeriCorps members here in the Lehigh Valley. The AmeriCorps Community Resource Navigator will support COVID-19 response and its substantial impact on the housing sector in our community. An AmeriCorps assignment is a service position that is grant funded and lasts for one year. Please consider this exciting opportunity to support community stabilization efforts while earning a living stipend and education award. The service term is October 2021 - August 2022. Members will serve approximately 20-30 hours per week, depending on assignment and location. Service locations are in Bethlehem, Easton, and Allentown. AmeriCorps members earn a living stipend based on their service hours and upon successful completion of their term, they are eligible for an educational award that can be applied toward student loans or further educational expenses.
