TITLE:    Administrative Assistant – Temporary, Part-time

REPORTS TO:     President

OBJECTIVE:  The purpose of this position is to provide clerical support to the President and others as assigned.


  • Prepare and distribute monthly meeting agendas, minutes, and reports.
  • Maintain Board and Committee rosters.
  • Maintain filing system.
  • Communicate with agencies.
  • Handle phone calls of various nature
  • Maintain inventory for all supplies (order supplies)
  • Maintain copier, postage meter and office equipment.
  • Maintain primary phone and voice mail settings.
  • Cross train in other areas in the office
  • Assist with TEFAP program.
  • Assist with Special Events
  • Assist with other functions in the office as assigned.
  • General housekeeping duties within the office
  • Coordinate and participate in Human Service Collaborative meetings.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.


  1. Two-year degree required or equivalent., Bachelor’s degree a plus.
  2. 5 years’ office experience
  3. Strong composition, grammar, punctuation, oral and written communication skills
  4. Must be a team player, able to multi-task and flexible to handle jobs as needed and assigned.
  5. Proficient in Word, Excel, Power Point and Publisher
  6. Valid Michigan driver’s license
  7. Must be able to lift 25-50 lbs.
